THE place to go in Palm Springs. Reviews are not wrong- it’s really hard to get in here, even on a random Wednesday. We got lucky and swiped seats at the bar.
The ambience is amazing, service is impeccable, and the food and drinks are bizarrely delicious. Such a fun place to hang out and enjoy the evening. I had the Kashmir drink, then shared a brandy Alexander for dessert with my husband.
He had the steak and frites and I had the scallops. Both were outstanding and filling. Perfectly prepared and balanced. We also started with the house rolls- also delicious. Oh, and their single person restroom is super cute. Can’t wait to go back again!
Not a shocker this place has 4.5 stars. Love love love this restaurant. I was on a girls’ trip and a friend recommended we try Bar Cecil; it’s totally my vibe. Good eats and drinks, paired with a vibrant bar scene. This place is good for date night, girls’ night, or even a dinner with the family.
We were early for our reservation, so we waited outside in the front where the firepit was. Once inside, it felt like one of my favorite restaurants back home in the Bay Area.
The food was delish and of good quality, drinks were awesome (they made a really good Martinez and espresso martini), and the ambiance was cool.
Parking is easy as they have their own standalone parking lot.
I would definitely return on my next visit to Palm Springs!
What a fun night!
I never knew I could fall in love with a martini, but alas, I can't stop thinking about it.
The steak was juicy and flavorful, practically melted in your mouth.
The bread, oh my goodness, GET THE BREAD, for the love of God. It is SO good!
The atmosphere, just, perfection! I can't wait to return.
Absolutely lived up to the hype. Hands down the best dining experience in Palm Springs. New school menu with some classics in the mix. Thoughtful and attentive service. Gorgeous interiors. Impeccably clean space and bonus points for effective air conditioning in the peak of summer.
Hard to get a reservation but worth the work once one is scored!
Intimate and cozy without being cramped. Very pleasant atmosphere inside and out. Music just audible. Not a complicated menu. Service is spot on, attentive, friendly, not pretentious or hovering. The food, though. Oh the food is what will be remembered for a good while. It was sublime. Every bite was made perfect. I could find no fault. And the portions were very generous at this level of cuisine, too. And a hearty shout-out to the bar, some beautiful cocktails were very much enjoyed. We will certainly return.
