The tables were all dirty, and we did have to ask to have a table cleaned for us to sit and enjoy our dinner. We were disappointed that anchovies were not available. May of our friends do enjoy anchovies and so it is unfortunate that they are not even an option. This is not a fancy place but more of a fast food pizza place. Pizzas were tasty and the environment is mall food court style.”

“Steamers is one of the few, if only, businesses in Old Sacramento that opens early like 07:00. This was a blessing as I was craving coffee and food. Which they had in style. I ordered the Frnch toast and then the early bird breakfast which is eggs, bacon, toast or potatoes. The French toast does not come with a combo and does not look like traditional square French toast which is perfectly fine. The French toast 3 large slices was cooked perfectly and to me had the right amount of cinnamon on it. The Early bird breakfast come with a healthy portion of eggs 2 slices of bacon and 2 slices of toast. The breakfast looked perfect. I actually ate everything which is a first for me. Coffee I had 2 cups and it was quite good as well. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Thanks for starting the day out right.”

“Century Arden 14 was known for its distinctive geodesic domes, which caused it to be called Cinedome, very retro 60s chic. But it was remodeled a few years back with all of the perks: ritzy electric recliner seats, drink cup holders, and a generous allocation of space. Very nice. Big screens. Highly recommended. Very comfy and posh. Almost too comfy, naps are a dangerous possibility. Enjoy!”

“I love this place. It has been an icon in Sacramento for a long time. Used to visit when I was back going to Sacramento State University. Now I only get to visit once in awhile. The new movie theater is very nice (go on Tuesday for a discount price all day!), there's a gym now, and the indoor trampoline place for kids looks like it does a fair amount of business too! I'm hoping that the success of these places will help the area attract more businesses, as there is a lot of empty commercial space at Watt & El Camino.”
