“River Park has been starving for a solid restaurant in this strip for years now. Unfortunately all the previous attempts have been mediocre at best. With all the excitement (and drama, it's going to open, it's not, oh wait it's open!) about The Coconut we were looking forward to opening night. Now we had expected some opening day jitters and that's what we found our first 4 visits. Service has improved but it's still a bit uneven. The last visit we were seated quickly and food was brought out promptly. But timing is off as we had barely started our appetizers when our dinner was brought out. On previous visits the food had arrived barely warm. This time everything was hot. Other improvements were the garlic/parmesan fries not being overwhelmed with garlic and while they were still undercooked at least now they had a bit of crisp (although not nearly enough). But since they use such a thick cut once they aren't hot it's not a good eat. Tried all the curry and while fine the sauce was just a bit watery and flavors not well developed. The wings were good nothing to complain about except the uneven portions. Overall a little disappointed but enough promise that we will go back in a few weeks to see if it keeps improving.”

“Very nice, very popular. Especially the Happy Hour. Get there by 4:15 to get a seat in the correct area. Very good menu items from salt and vinegar chips to artichoke dip and the $9 Wildwood burger($7 off dinner price) is a very good deal as long as you don't split it to save room for the Key Lime pie or lemon cheesecake. Not noted on menu nor mentioned by server is $5 split charge which is ridiculous when you have a knife right there.”

“Had lunch here for a family gathering. Friendly staff, helped me choose the General Tao Chicken, which was delicious as the chicken was crispy but not overcooked. Excellent sauce with a bit of spice too. I had the Chow mein that was great as well. My wife had lemon chicken that was served as a couple of nice tender chicken cutlets and the sauce on the side to add! Nice touch, that kept it from being soggy. We all enjoyed the meal, and stay for a nice visit and were not rushed! We will be returning!”

“I love the food here. It’s surprising this place is not doing well and all the new stores have closed. This store is still open and the food is great. Always a classic. This place sells food that is classic typical American food. Items you would normally see at the thanksgiving table. My personal favorite is the quarter chicken with two sides. I get the corn and the red potatoes however their selection is pretty good and the pot pie is also amazing. The actual decor and building is super outdated and it looks like this building was a old fast food place that was converted to this Boston market years ago. It has not been updated for years. Also the entry is weird and at a odd position so be careful pulling in and out. You can’t go wrong with anything here. Food is 5 stars. The Decor is 2 star. Only reason I gave this place a 4 star. And the service is good. Not as bad as fast food but not a traditional restaurant either.”

“One of the best steak houses I have ever been to. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The price was a little high but for the quality of food and service it's worth it. They bring your steak out on a 500 degree plate to keep your steak warm the whole time you're eating it. They also bring out a selection of knives to use. I will definitely be going back some day.”

“Amazing value and very good food & ambience. I love the ordering system that is in place. Come in, order, sit, then dine. Fantastic. The staff was courteous and professional. On this date, I had the avocado & bacon omelet that comes with toast, blackberry jam and seasoned potatoes. This cost about $12. Well worth it for the quality of food you get. The omelette was good, but the star was for sure the bacon. It's thick and chewy bacon, which I like. I am unsure if crispy bacon is an option for those who enjoy that. The potatoes were seasoned well with rosemary and were cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and chewy interior. The blackberry jam was tart and not overly sweet, which was something I appreciated. I highly recommend giving Cafe Bernardo a try if you have not. 5 Stars.”

“One of the best Mexican restaurants in Sacramento. Regardless of the location (but this location is a bit better) the vibe is fantastic and very intimate. The chips and dip at the beginning is so great that I am sure you'll ask for more before your plates arrive. I ordered a mixture of the tacos and you really can't go wrong. It's a real staple of Sacramento and whenever I'm in town, I'll always go check it out!”

“I am so thankful I found this spot in Sacramento! The food is great, and the people are excellent. My favorites are the papaya salad, and you MUST try the lemon grass beef skewers! Rocked my world! “Hands down I thought this pizza was better than the popular pizza chains. They have good pricing for their pizzas. The employee that I've encountered has always had great customer service. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes for service or a pizza to be completed. Me and my boyfriend favor this place over any other local or close by Pizzeria. Give them a chance and understand they are a small business so when they get busy it can take time to put out orders. If they are busy I still say it's well worth the wait just give him a call and make sure you go in and pick up your pizza as I'm not sure that they offer delivery.”
