“Let's not kid ourselves. The wait is very long. Anyone that says otherwise is lying. Now, being as busy as they are . The do serve the food within a decent wait time. Half of the staff needs to smile more. Not so The food is hot and nothing is over seasoned. The price is comparable to everywhere else. Good quality. I wish the had real fruit juice . They don't fill the plate with a bunch of carbs which is nice . Everything comes in at the same time we ordered 4 plates. I had the country fried steak, and eggs Benedict. My son had chicken and waffles which was chicken breast. He said it was great. His mom had eggs Benedict Florentine. They couldn't finish it cause they're light weights. Lol I do appreciate they cooked the asparagus garnish well too. They can get away with it and no one will know. But I tried it and it was cooked perfect.”

“Literally, the best takeout spot in the greater Sacramento area. Halal Bitez has a great menu with the most flavorful food options. They stay open late and they make the food quickly. The guys in the shop always have a smile and the restaurant is clean. Definitely try the garlic fries and the fried eggplant when you go. I guarantee you'll love it!”

“Not sure if anyone has been hoping for a hot pot/shabu place to open up around here, but I was and I’m glad Tao’s Hot Pot and Shabu opened up in Folsom! If you have never tried this type of food, you pick from a selection of soup bases, then pick your meats/veggies/carbs etc., boil then eat. Basically fondue but not using cheese. They also offer hot food items, such as chicken wings, potstickers, etc. If you can handle spicy then I would recommend trying the spicy soup base, unfortunately I can’t handle heat. The owner is from the hot pot capital of China (ChongQing) so I would imagine the spicy soup base to be quite good. Price is comparable to other ayce hot pot/shabu places, and there are lots of specials during the week (50% off alcohol and free soft drink), I also did the lobster tail add on ($12), so worth it! You can tell it’s really fresh and it was tasty. For my protein I just stuck to beef, both kinds were really good. I got the miso soup base and it was well flavored and seasoned. I’m a big fan of their house special dipping sauce, and stuck to using that. The homemade shrimp balls is also great, and a must order. The shrimp came peeled and deveined, which was nice. To my pleasant surprise they offer yuki no bosha (cabin in the snow) sake. A rarer delicious sake I usually find at fancier establishments. At 50% I just had to haha! I’ll be back to try the tomato soup base soon! They do get busy on the weekends so plan ahead. This would be great for those heading to/from Tahoe as well. Nom nom!”

“Extraordinary experience. For the first time, in California I have tested real authentic Afghan-Uzbek dish. I hope they keep thier genuine efforts and don't change their tradition recipes. Uzbek Palaw was awesome and can't be better than that. Shepherd Kebab with thier Chicken kebab was very tender and delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone to try and enjoy different culture's hospitality and thier food. Thanks Khojayeen”

“This place is Yum! The enchiladas were delicious and I already want more. I wish I were at home and could go back for seconds, lol. The tacos also had wonderful flavor. A nice clean restaurant with friendly help. I especially like their art in the wall of the two different bridges. Go see what I am talking about, not to the see art, but to eat the wonderful food. My wife and I will definitely go back, over and over again!”

“Was good pizza. I heard so much about it, I thought it would be WOW, but what I tried was ok, good ok. Advice: if you are having the cheese slice or the pepperoni slice, get spicy honey from them and eat it with that added. You will feel the difference. It will take it from an ok pizza to much better. I would go again for a slice if I am really hungry.”

“Alexa was our bartender and I can amazing, we had the best experience in Sacramento for a slanky bar. The drinks and cocktails are absolutely some of the best. Very well thought out menu. Fresh, special, and different. The food is definitely a hit and miss. Small but a punch of flavor and well-balance. I rarely leave reviews, and I'm back the second time.”

“Honestly excellent customer service but the food it’s just not there. The best is the boat soup and the chicken rice, all the other noodles dishes was not good at all. Clean environment for dine in and restroom was really clean. Won’t recommend this location for Thai food unless for the boat soup”

“Their food truck dropped by this Thursday next to Pleasant Hill - BART station. What an amazing combo of waffles & fried chicken wrapped inside popular sauces. Loved every bite of it and pretty heavy on the tummy too. Easy recommendation and would ask anyone to try this lovely fast food. Cone is $12 and plate is $15. They had sweet cones as well (shocker :P) but lot of calories for someone trying to loose weight. Overall great food truck to recommend if you can find nearby. Their Instagram page is pretty updated and have accurate schedules.”

“I would highly recommend the Sopes! No chip/salsa bar...but no biggie. The food was awesome! The place was clean and everyone was very friendly! Again...the sope I had was perfectly done! The tacos were fantastic! I always get a bunch of different meats...they were all great. I got a side of chips and salsa...I don't think you need to. However, I had a great time! Thanks for the food it was fantastic, I look forward to coming back if I get sent back out to that horrible job site around the corner.”

“Unreal!! I have tried a lot of vegan places and this place blew me away. Everything tasted so fresh, including the drinks. We got the Tamarindo margarita 10/10, highly recommended. The bartenders and servers were so friendly. It’s a small place and they don’t take reservations unless it’s six or more. We went on a Friday night but it wasn’t too bad of a wait.”

“Dumpling House on J Street Sacramento, was a very enjoyable restaurant. In fact, you probably won't find better dumplings unless you go to dumpling restaurants in San Francisco. Not a lot of tables, parking was down a side street, but it was all worth it. We were going for a dumpling coma and accomplished that. We tried pork and vegetable, chicken and corn, shrimp and chicken, only vegetable, sticky rice and sesame balls. You order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. Yes, it was spartan decoration to the place, but so what. This was a real dumpling place. Yummo. Watched them make the dumplings by hand with the help of a machine that grinds up the ingredients and loads them into the noodle wrapper. See my photos. Amazing.”

“Friendly staff that has remembered my name and favorite order several times. They are nice and on top of it. The sandwiches are very tasty and I often order a custom sandwich. They're bacon and sprouts add ons are very good and can transform a sandwich. During covid times inside dining has mostly been closed but they have outside seating and sodas still and have hand sanitizer. Good quality bag chips are available and you can call ahead to get an order. I have not been disappointed yet.”

“Super excited to visit this one since Morse closed down. When I pulled up there were two cars in the drive thru, I pulled in behind them. Service was so friendly and fast! I ordered and had my items in less than 3 minutes! Everything I ordered was perfect. Very happy first experience for a brand new location!”

“It'd be nice to have a small table inside or outside while waiting for the food and drinks. I get that it's not a cafe. It's not for dining in. Social distancing and all. That's fine. It just kind of, eh? Aside from that drinks are nice. Reusable glass cups are WITH a cover are tight.”

“Review in short... Super Awesome! Very Clean, Very Nice, Very Yummy! Tons of meats to choose from! Huge menu! I was extremely impressed! Notable items... • The parking entry is made for cars and such...not trailers or truck trucks - like, 🚛 trucks. (But, you can park on the side street across from it, so you know) • I didn't notice a public restroom in the dine-in area. Not saying they don't have one, just saying I didn't notice one. • Currently, their hours are like 8am-330pm. Review in long... I was at a job site down the street. The guys that didn't bring lunch, wanted to grab a quick bite. Since I already ate my lunch, I needed/wanted elevensies, so I jumped in their truck. THEY WENT TO CARLS JR!!! I ran down to Taqueria Jr! (A much better option!) I ordered 5 different tacos. After looking at their menu, I couldn't decide. It all looked so good! I can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu! I was so excited to walk in and grub down, I forgot to take pictures. (I'll fix that next time) The service was perfect! They were fast! They have a huge menu! They have food that I don't see very often, that I can't wait to taste! Oh, ya, the tacos that I got...were fantastic! The grilled onions, were fantastic! The salsas, were flavorfully fantastic! My buddies that ate at Carl's Jr, were jealous! I don't want to say what tacos I ordered, for fear of scaring people that eat at Carl's Jr and Taco Bell, but I can say, they were all delicious! For my new friends at Taqueria Junior... Thank you for feeding me today! I can't wait to be back in the area, so I can see you again! Thanks for feeding me today! It was perfect!”

“This place is fantastic. I ordered takeout from Doordash and upon seeing the doordasher "shake up" my order, the owner personally called me to make sure everything was fine. Great customer connection, very friendly guy. And luckily, the food made it to me in one piece, still beautifully intact. Can't wait to experience this place in person. Update: I went back to enjoy their beautifully made Pici alla Bolognese along with the Caprese with Burrata. Such quality ingredients! When I got home I just had to plate it nicely on my own dishes. Their food deserves to be eaten with actual dinnerware.”

“This is not my first time here and it won’t be my last, the food was phenomenal. The Ribs literally melt in your mouth and I’ve never tasted a potato salad that was so delicious, honestly the best potato salad in all of Northern California. Definitely a great fine dining experience.”

“My husband and I like to come here for dinner and drinks. We don't gamble. They have some of the best Asian food but not served until 5pm. All other menu items are served all day until 3am. The drinks are strong and the bartenders are great. So far my favorite dish is the buffalo wings.”

“This is a decent place to eat, and the food was good but the tea was very good. They had a lot of options on the lunch menu, but you needed to verify that they could be made veg friendly. The soup was not for it was made with Chicken. For lunch it was not very fast but the prices were fair. The Decor was nice, but could use a refresh.”

“Delicious indian fusion but the Italian twist falls behind. The pizza and samosa are bursting with flavor. Very filling package in a humble little pizza. But the Chicken Alfredo was just mediocre in comparison. It tasted like something I could heat up in a microwave. Service was a little slow too despite empty venue. I enjoyed the tikki masala pizza so much I let it slide. Pizza twist feels like it's an Indian restaurant that's trying to be something that's its not. Skip the pasta, embrace the naan.”
