“I have been passing this place for quite some time and today we decided to get a breakfast burrito. We ordered the lunch burrito that comes with potatoes, eggs,beans, cheese, and your choice of meat. It was really good. They have many options of what they make all day. There salsa I believe is freshly made due to it being served in medium metal pans near the register instead of places where it is served in big plastic containers as a salsa bar. Our burrito was really good and quick to be made. I look forward to coming here to try other foods such as the cali burrito with bacon and the mariscos! Also the paintings inside are beautiful if you grew up watching pedro infants, el chavo, chente, and cantiflas. Your in for a treat. Also they sell pozole,birria,menudo, and albondigas for you sopa lovers.”

“Love this place. I came out of the Dr. office wanting something sweet to drink I bumped into this place and asked them if they could make me an apple juice. She said they would have to use their juicer, but they could make it for me, it was delicious (some people manage to get juice wrong). I noticed though that they had a torta combo, but decided to try it a different day...that too was delicious! For $8 I got half a torta, a fruit cup (you can swap them for chips) and a watermelon drink.”

“I haven't been to a Jack In The Box in over 2 years and noticed that when the server came to our table to give us our food he didn't bring it in trays but in baskets as in the style of a delicatessen. It was very impressive. All in all, though, I still don't prefer Jack In The Box because the food is a little more greasier. We only went because it was more convenient.”

The tostadas made with cooked shrimp are tangy and tasty and portion is good as well. Fish tacos are average but good for the price. “South Cali Steak Burger Bar (what a mouthful, huh?) did not disappoint. Our burgers were fire. I love when you go to a burger place & the burgers taste homemade, these burgers taste just like burgers you'd make for yourself on the grill at home. They were super juicy & flavorful. My husband ordered the original charbroiled burger w/ cheese & I ordered the avocado bacon burger. I was super torn because they have a teriyaki pineapple burger but I make those all the time at home, still I know it would have been lit. We both ordered 6oz patties & I literally thought they gave me the 8oz in error because my burger was huge, I could barely finish half. A huge plus was that they did NOT skimp on the ingredients! They gave me some big ol' slices of avocado & three full slices of perfectly cooked bacon. THREE full slices! My husband made his meal a combo which came w/ seasoned fries & they were good, I love me a seasoned fry, y'all. South Cali Steak Burger Bar would have been out of our way otherwise but my husband had driven me down to Chula Vista so I could pick up some Cuban pastries and we almost didn't stop in, despite the stellar reviews, because we didn't see parking, but I'm so glad we did. I think we paid a little over $20 altogether & those are my kind of prices so I'd definitely stop in again if I ever found myself in Chula Vista.”

“I am changing my review to four stars. At first I gave it five. Went here and had a great experience. The man that took my order was very friendly. I asked for salsa verde and he packed it in my bag. The next day I went back. A different younger man was at the counter. He acted like he was mad that I ordered at all. When I asked for the salsa he just said “NO!”. He was rude and gruff. I guess I have to say it’s hit or miss. I hate spending $35 for a meal and feeling like I am unwelcome and a burden to the business. Kudos to the friendly gentleman.”
