“Hometown restaurant for locals and guests and first timers. Nice portions and nice prices. Biscuits and gravy are very good, blueberry pancakes are filling, bacon not salty, coffee hot. Service is really great. Usually visit on weekdays and not very busy, this time on a Saturday morning around 9am and quite busy. Old fashioned bench seating is outdated but comfy. We try to come back often.”

I devoured their chicken mole danish, which was a well balanced blend of savory and mildly sweet flavors. The Valrhona chocolate brownie is excellent for people like me who love a very rich chocolate profile. It has a melt-in-your-mouth softness at room temperature and pairs well with their house brewed coffee. I definitely recommend this business for a quick bite or coffee / dessert date. “This place is so cute with the nicest employees. I ordered the Butterfly Milk Tea because it looked cute. They forgot my boba and fixed it but it didn't look like the picture at all and without realizing it I said it looked ugly outloud. 🙊 I was so embarrassed but she was so nice and remade it for me. 🥰 and not only did it look cute it also tasted great. I also recommend trying the Andy's Feck Tea because not only did it taste great it also had such a cute back story to it.”

“They are very busy, yet all the people behind the counter are super friendly, the manager is super nice and you can tell all the staff is very well trained. I've come twice since I found out they opened the place. This Starbucks barely opened. It is very cleaned. The bathrooms are at the back and really clean. It is a Starbucks they all have a very distinctive look, yet this one is different, they were very busy the 2 times I've gone and they are still ready to help you and take care of your order very fast. They have a little terrace you can sit at or you can go inside to find a little table an sit down. They serve all the classical drinks as well as the bottle coffee's we all have grown accustomed to do drink, eat an love. All their pastries are the same and flavors are about the same. I know we have several Starbucks here in the area, I just have to tell you service with a smile here in this side of Chula Vista is always very welcome. My wife and I really enjoyed coming for a small date and a smile. Thanks to all the crew for make us feel special.”

“I go to a lot of Starbucks during the week and this one really caught my attention. I went to the Starbucks with my wife in-service was fantastic. The person at the counter took my order pretty quickly and it was served at a very timely manner. They were very good at taking my order and the flavor like every Starbucks is good flavor coffee and good flavor food. We have come before to this place before they remodeled it, service has always been good. Yet We noticed was that as they remodeled it got bigger and better. I am able to see a lot of students I come to study with their laptops it's really nice to see how the young come to take the time to study and have friends. I like the environment I like the way they did it as a remodeled it and created a very nice young environment. I could see my kids coming over here and hang out with their friends. Another thing I found out is that they have a two bathrooms on the back left side and they are handicap accessible. As well as the parking lot is handicap accessible. They have a place to plug your electronics (thing that other Starbucks don't have). My wife and I really like it and we're coming back. Service was always with a smile. Also at noticed that you can stay as long as you like and no body will say anything to you. I do like that the bar is longer and easy to access.”

“I've been here since 3-ish, drinking a delicious tall Cold Brew in a mug, perfectly iced with Almond Milk in the first and Coconut Milk in the refill ( free btw with a registered Starbucks card!), accessing the free Wi-Fi, eating sparely but a great little packet of Almonds and Fruit, Rewards would have allowed an added Food Item, but I was happy just to have my little corner of the room— a nook to write in, or look through what facebook was presenting, making present, on a day when the world I was reading about; seeing pictured in vivid, searing images of flaming woods and neighborhoods in my own State!, hearing described on Morning Edition and by Judy Woodruff on PBS newshour, and in the lead articles of the New York Times, and through the always heart-gripping and mind-scrambling reporting of Nick Kristof who, nevertheless also somehow does not fail to inspires me and give me a despite-it-all kind of HOPE, & a confirmation of the existence in the very heart of our fallible and beleaguered species, of a GOODNESS & a RESILIENCE & a PERSISTANCE that exists as truly within us as does all the dross & all the greed & all the obtuse insensitivity and CRUELTY that's also been emanating so vilely and so consistently from the defiled fortress we symbolically call an Oval Office, wish-fulfillingly look to from seats of power that only sporadically uphold the principles so many American Heroines and Heroes have given Life, Liberty and their own Happiness to Pursue NOT BECAUSE IT WAS AN EFFORT WORTH DYING FOR SO MUCH AS THAT IT'S AN EFFORT WORTH LIVING FOR! It is important, if one has special needs or requests, to be both tactful and patient in asking and in giving the baristas and the cashiers and the people who prepare the orders and keep the place so clean and picked up ( even, usually, the rest rooms! not always the case elsewhere!) time to add your particular wish to their very full plates of customers' wishes!”

Some days the gas is a couple cents higher, someday it's a few cents lower than the guys across the street.
