“Three stars for the very friendly staff and congenial atmosphere. The place itself is gingerbread-cute but needs painting and freshening. Grungy around the edges. Food was below average. My cheeseburger was well done and I asked for it medium rare. The onion rings were so hard and dry I had difficulty chewing them. I wanted to like this place as a go-to neighborhood spot but I need to look elsewhere.”

“A local hangout that used to have better food (and sometimes it’s very good!) but lately has been inconsistent. My ‘omelette’ yesterday was an overcooked veggie scramble with slices of only partially melted cheese trying to hide the lack of omelette integrity. Wish they’d invest a little in non-plastic plates and better flatware. Wait staff is, as always, the best, but quality and overall experience could use improvement.”
