“NEW IN TOWN! I decided to stop in for a late lunch and try this place out. It was my 1st time going to a poki poki location. The meats tasted fresh and great. Many toppings to choose from along with sauces. I did not know what to expect price wise... but my regular bowl with a drink came out to $20. To me, that was pricey, but I believe it is a normal price for places like this? I really enjoyed my bowl-it was very tasty and filling! I had the green tea thai as my drink-it was okay.”

“Great new addition to Fallbrook. I stopped in for some quick take-out. They have a robust menu filled with a variety of delicious dishes I can't wait to try. I ordered a few things, the Bánh Mì sandwich, Chicken Pho, House Special Vermicelli - Bun Dac Biet, & a Boba tea. The Bánh Mì sandwich had all the key characteristics of a great Bánh Mì sandwich. The bread was was warm with a crackly crust and a soft, airy interior. The pickled vegetables were fresh and flavorful, which add just the right tanginess and crunch. The pork was seasoned and perfectly cooked. The Chicken Pho was delicious. The foundation of good Pho is its rich, aromatic broth simmered for hours giving it a deep rich layered flavor. They checked that box. Add in a large protein serving, perfectly cooked rice noodles, fresh basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, onion, jalapeño, and a squeeze of lime and you got yourself a harmonious balance of flavors – savory, sweet, spicy, and sour. Last the House Special Vermicelli - Bun Dac Biet. Served with a variety of proteins - chicken, pork & shrimp, an egg roll, a small salad, served with a side of dipping sauce. The vermicelli was perfectly tender, the meats were well-seasoned, marinated, and grilled, and the sauce adds a tangy, sweet, and savory element to the dish, tying all the components together. The Boba tea was great. They gave me half Boba and half Jelly, We enjoyed our meal. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and the food flies out of the kitchen. I look forward to going back and trying more items on the menu. For those who reviewed this restaurant right after it opened, all new restaurants struggle a bit in the first couple of months. It takes a little time to get timing, quality, and consistency together. Give them another try and update your experience.”

“First time here while in the area. We ordered the whipped goat cheese and olives starter, the Vegan BLT, and Veggie Melt sandwiches. For drinks, we ordered Ironfire's tropical tiki brew and a white blend from a local Fallbrook winery. The food was delicious, and the drinks were refreshing. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was great.”

“Edited & Updated March 22 3 years ago I left a rant and one of my first reviews for a dying course. I was upset another local course was letting itself go. I played again yesterday and this course is quickly on its way to recovery. The greens were beautiful and tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. This is now back in my rotation and will support the rebirth of GCOC. Congrats and thank you for keeping this great track alive!”

“Cute, clean, extremely roomy coffee cafe located downtown fallbrook. Good latte, I ordered the caramel and vanilla iced lattes. Modest customer service. I wanted pastries but they were sold out. A little pricey and all drinks regardless of the size only comes with 2 shots of espresso.”

“We had a lovely meal recently at this charming, homey hangout restaurant. All the seating is outdoors and there is a large area in the rear with additional seating for a more intimate experience. They do a poor job online with listing their menu and drink choices but it's basically beer and pizza for now with a few other beverages. I think they used to have burgers but not now. The wood oven pizza was very tasty. We had sausage, onion and mushroom. We also got some nice lemon sparkling water but those who enjoy beer will appreciate the craft selections. For cold nights, there are outdoor heaters and blankets. There is also a homewares shop with pretty selections called the Witty Shoppe. And they also have an business at this location for event furniture rental. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful. A pleasure all around to be there.”

“3 stars for the excellent food. The potato tacos were amazing. Also, the super California burrito was not only delicious but so big me and my husband were able to share. Customer service was non existing. The tables and chairs were so dirty. The bathroom sink didn't work and neither did the soda machines. Thank God they had a second bathroom (men's) that I was able to go in to wash my hands.”

“We were given the Pala Mesa Aqua Terra Mother's Day pick-up curbside brunch as a gift. It was right on time, delicious and had lots of food. My grown "kids" ordered it from out of town and the manager, Thomas Martin, could not have been nicer or more professional. The brunch order also had a beautiful floral bouquet that my family ordered to make it extra special. Finally, the chef came out to the car to thank and greet us! Five stars for Pala Mesa Resort :)”

“My boyfriend and I were looking for a new place to visit and explore without realizing we were going to find this magical little place. If you like a homey and cozy ambience this place is just what you want. I was already very excited and happy with the positive reviews but when we came and our waitress, Berenice, sat us in the back balcony I fell in love. The food is awesome but Berenice made our first visit here that much more amazing. She’s very friendly; patient and I look forward to bring friends and family here and share this lovely place.?”

“Small, cozy restaurant and bar. Family owned and run. Better than most Mexican food locations. From the chips to the salsas, it was a surprisingly delicious experience. Everything seemed homemade, nothing tasted or appeared "canned". Good selections of draft beers as well as bottled. Margaritas were well made and tasty. Staff was exceptional. The only downside was the use of yellow cheese...there is NO YELLOW CHEESE in Mexican cuisine! Southwestern yes, Mexican no. There is a difference.”
