Breakfast was great. Had eggs, potatoes and toast. Coffee was good and they serve it piping hot just the way I like it! Service was fast and efficient. I'll definitely be back.
Miner's Diner is nostalgic and retro as it gets. You walk in and are reminded of simpler times, sprinkled with plenty of character and old ice cream parlor feel about it. The food is fantastic, I enjoyed the fried chicken and it was cooked to perfection. Not overly breaded, just a nice thin very crisp layer, super tasty. Enjoy with fries and wash it down with a milkshake. You can't go wrong. ????????????
Great food and friendly efficient staff. Cool country atmosphere in an original building on Julian's main street. Don't forget to have some Apple pie for desert or stop by for just pie. The shakes are awesome as well.
Iconic place in Julian. Even when it was crowded, the waitress managed to got our order pretty quickly. The servings were gigantic. Awesome burgers, fries and milkshakes!!!
Late lunch/early dinner.
We went up to Julian to see the sights and for a meal. The Miner's Diner is our first choice when we visit.
Located on the main street, you can do a lot in that area.
The food is tasty, today I had the fried chicken. A lot of pieces, a lot of fries, I brought half home. I love the fries, perfectly cooked. The chicken's coating is quite flavorful, as well.
We sat at the soda counter. Comfortable. Kitchy old time decor, do take time to check it out.
There is one restroom inside, down a short corridor across from the counter in the back. They also say there are two more outside, but I don't know.
I bring up restrooms because not all places have public restrooms. Not even for guests. There are pay toilets, one set is behind the town hall on the main street. Bring quarters.
