Vegetarian only options. I'm not a vegetarian but I had some coffee here and a egg version of a crepe kind of like an omelette. The coffee was delicious and the food was very fresh. Atmosphere was mellow very purple theme to match the name

Good coffee option esp when the main street is heaving. Don't expect a meal tho, no matter what it says here on Google. Kitchen is closed all the time even though they seem to be cooking crepes in there (see video). Coffee is decent but the milk tea options are good

Had a pleasure of dining at Purple Owl Cafe in Julian, and I must say, their crepes are to die for! I tried both their savory and sweet crepe plates, and I was blown away by the incredible taste. The crepes were perfectly made and generously filled. It's safe to say I'll be coming back for more soon! Purple Owl Cafe has definitely earned its spot as my favorite breakfast place when visiting Julian!

A little off the main drag, BUT totally worth it... Delicious baked goods and gluten free options. Coffee menu is extensive and well priced for CA... A bonus is having heavy cream for all the low carb/keto fans out there. Plenty of parking, seating, and service is outstanding! 🙂🙂🙂

This quant cafe tucked away deserves some recognition! They opened one month ago and should be a MUST try spot when visiting Julian.

The ingredients are incredibly fresh— whether you get a crepe or a tarrtine you won’t be disappointed (we recommend the strawberry & cream cheese crepe for a unique experience)!

Enjoy your meal outside on the glass mosaic picnic tables and make sure to grab a smooth, creamy latte before venturing back into town.
