The service was fast and friendly! I asked for a substitution in one of the smoothies, Local Legend, and the staff was more than happy to make me what I requested. All the drinks are made with real fruit and products as well!!

Got a watermelon and strawberry smoothie and it was so delicious! Plus organic and very healthy, with no added sugars. Best smoothie I’ve had in La Jolla! The owner was super kind and friendly. Definitely will be going back before our vacation is over!

Staff was very friendly and went out of his way to assist me in charging my phone. Smoothie was good and the location is very cute but easy to miss. Great to sit down and rest or grab and go.

Ended up in this little hidden juice bar to get some work done on a gray and rainy day, and it turned out to be a one-of-a-kind experience where I half worked and I half talked business and life with the business owner Zak! Thanks Zak for the great chat, I'll be back.

So Zak is a former engineer, originally from Syria, who decided to quit his 9-5 job to open his own business! We talked about the challenge of managing/hiring staff, growing a business, branding, marketing, etc... I have my own business as well so I completely remember how it was at the beginning!

To get to the essence of this little place, the cold-pressed juices are very very healthy, and taste great, they are the ones made in the store, all organic, and sold in glass bottles. I had the Emerald (greens) and the Amulet (carrot based, sweeter).

I also had the Makdous toast which is very meditteranean with an eggplant-based and red pepper condiment. It was very affordable and generous compared to most places offering toasts. It tasted great. I just suggested that the presentation be a little bit "americanized"

All in all, I spent a great few hours working, chatting, dreaming, people watching at the bar of this place on a cold rainy San Diego January day. I had a great time. Wifi was stable, got work done.

Let's support locally owned businesses and help them get better! I wish you the best for your business Zak!

New cute juice spot near the beach with fresh, organic, smoothies and juices! I ordered a toast, an açaí bowl and a juice and they were all amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back.
