“This is a decent enough location, convenient to I-805, but as with many things in San Diego, access and parking are an issue. The parking lot seems to be in a perpetual state of construction. The counter and drive-thru speeds move at typical McDonald speeds, which is not really saying much. And the Palm Avenue traffic can be quite a bit at times so unless you're going westbound on Palm Avenue, you're probably best to choose a different location.”

“Went here close to the closing to pick up some pastries but there was not many options left. Ended up getting a box of petite fours ($14) and sugar cookies ($8) which where fantastic!! I highly recommend their cake to anyone who wants something small but tasty! Not too sweet, but a wonderful almond flavor and moist cake! My only critique is that I thought the prices were a little high (mainly due to them not being posted anywhere), and the serving staff had to look up each item to give a price quote. However, the staff was responsive and I would go back again!”

“GREAT VALUE ! My wife and I have ridden our bikes past this cafe a thousand times and finally today we had lunch here. We ordered a couple of Caramel Macchiatos (1 hot & 1 iced) and a Ham Diegan toasted sandwich on fresh sourdough bread to share. We decided to sit inside because it was a bit hot on the patio. The sandwich arrived at our table first followed a few minutes later by our coffees.The sandwich was nicely presented and well made...it tasted excellent. Our coffees tasted rich and satisfying. We will definitely come back here again !”

(If you are showing up at prime time.. seating can be limited) but if you are lucky enough to snag a couch spot.. you've just got the best seat on the beach to eat! “Really like the black milk tea with boba but the price is a little of the high side. Almost a dollar more did the usual place that I go to for the same size. They also don't open up early in the morning. I walked in at 10 as the door was unlocked and they told me to go away that they don't open till like 11:30. I've been there before so that's why I give them the four stars but if they're going to keep the door unlocked then they should be willing to serve drinks”
