“Cute cafe that is not overly crowded when you want a place to enjoy your coffee and food. I loved greenery and plants lining the inside and placed on the tables. Plenty of seating and super cozy. Coffee was good, and I want to come back to try more specialty lattes. They do have non dairy options: Almond milk and Oat milk. I was super exited to see a vegan item on the menu, the Vegan Burrito, which was good and much larger than I expected (that is not a bad thing!). Having plant based menu items draws me in to visit places so I’m happy to see Drift has more than one vegan menu item.”

“Palmys Cafe is located on the corner of Mission Blvd and Feldspar in Pacific Beach. It looks like a big beautiful house nestled within a tropical garden. The food and beverages are all freshly prepared to order. Not Your Standard Avocado Toast is my favorite here. The cappuccino and coffees are all amazing here. The food is amazing, but the ambiance brings it all together. Dine indoors in their comfortable dining room or outside in the comfortable tropical garden under the trees. If you are visiting Pacific Beach you should put Palmys on your list of places to eat early on in your stay, you will want to come back again and again!”

“Some of the best food I've eaten in San Diego or anywhere else in the country. Everything we ate was amazing and the restaurant itself is relaxing and casual. The burger is fantastic and properly smashed, giving the burger a lot of juice while also having crispy edges. The ribeye, both American and Australian, were amazing, seasoned and cooked to perfection!! And the potatoes were shockingly crispy while have having a soft interior. Easily the best fried potato side dish I've ever had, bar none! Cannot recommend this place enough and looking forward to the next time I'm able to swing by!!”

“Not a horrible place to eat, but I prefer Pho Bo, because of the low grade beef used here. Included picture is of the fat and cartilage I removed from my meal. Most of the pieces fall apart easily, like they should, but the BBQ beef of my vermicelli arrived cold, so it was not fresh cooked. I would not recommend this place until they get better beef. Great location and nice restaurant otherwise.”

Everything about the experience was fantastic and worth every penny. Their regular pepperoni was perfectly cooked with a nice thin crust and those beautiful pepperonis that curl inward after being roasted. The ‘Kiki’ was ridiculous. The sweet and savory plus the size of the pizza makes this place an easy 10/10. Do yourself a favor and try this spot when at the beach. You will NOT be disappointed!”
