“I visited Esca Blu for the first time on Saturday morning for brunch, we got lucky I guess, because we didn’t have to wait at all to be seated. We requested an outdoor table because the table we got inside was very uncomfortable, the hostess said she was cleaning the table and she would move us right away, but she forgot… I had to ask again, that took about 30min… I know it’s a new restaurant but it seems like they’re short staffed. The waitresses were trying but it seemed like they had more people than they could handle. They were nice, but we were having to request what we needed more than once because they kept forgetting. Kitchen was moving fast, we didn’t have to wait too long to get out food, but they took FOREVER to take our order. Food was DELICIOUS! We got the Brunch Pizza and the Cannoli French Toast, you can make the toast a full meal by adding eggs and bacon. We loved everything. They offer “bottomless mimosas” for $20dlls, but they have a 90 minute policy. The service is SO SLOW! They were taking forever to bring the mimosas, first the waitress said it was because they didn’t have enough clean glasses, and at the end when we tried to order another mimosa the waitress said he couldn’t because it was over 90 minutes already!!!!!! THEY GAVE US 4 MIMOSAS!. So I think the “bottomless mimosas” is a scam… It sucks because I was excited about this place and wanted to bring my friends for mimosas, but I guess not.”

“Loved the quick service, the super tasty ramen and toppings. Husband has the cold spicy dipping noodles, and the rest of us had the tonkotsu ramen with thick noodles. The broth was thick and flavorful. The roast pork belly was beautifully crisped. The egg was super soft and well seasoned. Excellent varieties of the dish.”

“Great spot for spicy fried chicken and cocktails! Loved the espresso martini and paloma. Spicy chicken sandwich was balanced and crunchy, slaw added a nice touch. OMG the Caesar brussel sprouts are a must!”

“First time here, and we would go again! The service was quick even though they were fairly busy. Prices are average for Thai food in this area. The food itself was good, I had drunken noodles (in photo) and my wife had Pad Thai. Hers was much better than mine. What I really liked, and this is more uncommon, was how spicy they made it for me! I like my spicy foods to taste like pain and they really came though! I've had many other restaurants around that were underwhelming in spicy, no matter how much I requested it. Another thing is I wish they served you on plates. All they have is plastic to-go containers. Seems wasteful and at this price point (for dining in) a bit under par. Overall the flavor of my drunken noodles was a bit bland and I wouldn't order it again but the pad Thai was delicious and we enjoyed the environment of the restaurant and will return!”

“We came here for San Diego Restaurant Week, and was glad we got to try a new place that was decent! The food was good. The steak was cooked perfectly. The duck confit was tender. The Crepes Suzette was interesting at first but ended up liking it. It's a tiny restaurant with only 20 seats inside. It's a very intimate setting. We didn't get to try too much of the wine because we went on a Monday and had work the next day. Maybe next time!”

“I recently opened a clinic nearby and my staff can’t get enough of this place. Our patients get lunch with their procedures and they always choose this place. I honestly can’t tell you what they put in these sandwiches (besides the best ingredients and love) that make their products taste so damn good. Not only does their food keep you coming back but the staff is so inviting, incredibly helpful, nice and they keep the place immaculate. I rarely go on google to write reviews but this location deserves the praise. If you haven’t stopped by you are missing out.”

“Food is a 10/10 amazing! Honestly better than Louisiana Purchase. But you should still try both. The have bottomless mimosa for only $20. Food price range from $8-$26 having fries as there cheapest and a New Orleans trio being the most expensive from their brunch menu. I highly recommend you this place a shot you won’t regret it! I had the shrimp po’boy and French toast with bacon and a ginger beer which came out to $40 not including tax and tip.”

“I absolutely love that place! Every time I walked close to this restaurant I saw a line in the street and now I know why. I had a Breakfast Jambalaya and my friend had the Vegan Breakfast Burrito; both plates were great and rich in terms of flavors and taste. The place has a great atmosphere and I like the playlist - 80’s songs. I just gave 4 starts since me and my friend felt a little bit of pressure to leave the table for the next guests. Besides that I totally recommend it!”

“Another i have been wanting to go since we left San Diego. Had been eyeing it on Instagram for some time. Phenomenal dining experience. Beautiful restaurant with an excellent vibe, impeccable service, and amazing food. We sat in the balcony and it was perfect San Diego weather. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The food. Phenomenal. The drinks were excellent. Had the special of the month which was a fig mule, so good. We had the taquitos and tacos de birria appetizers and bother were phenomenal and platted beautifully. For dinner my partner an i both had the short ribs in mole and my friend the pescado zarandeado and loved it. The homemade corn tortillas were delicious and the presentation, beautiful. Phenomenal dinning experience that everyone must have. Kuddos to Cocina del Barrio.”

“I LOVED having brunch at Go Go Amigos with my friends! We opted for the bottomless mimosas, which was a great deal… plus we got to mix our own drinks with juice of our choosing. Sarah, our waitress, was so lovely, attentive and kind. And of course, all of our meals were delicious. Lastly, we were thankful for the heaters, which made eating outside on an unseasonably cold day very enjoyable :)”

“Biggest and most delicious banh mi sandwich ever. Really yummy and only $7.95. Clean tables and really nice servers (the Dutch girl was super friendly) Their Restroom is a little old and dirty when I went to wash my hands. Lots of free parking in the back. Fresh veggies and perfect French bread. Their taro chip was delicious too. Egg rolls were great as well”

“Ended up here randomly. Staff was friendly and attentive. Ordered the club and the spicy chicken sandwich. Club was good but spicy chicken stole the show. Melty cheese, spicy chicken (chipotle?) tomato on crispy white bread. The young lady told us it was ✨spicy✨ and she didn’t lie. It burned so good lol. Highly recommend. Will come back for another one. Also super cute crochet items that would make cute gifts.”

“Ignore the 1 star review below. Completely wrong. My wife and i have been coming here since they opened and were married in Italy. This is by far the best, most authentic pizza in San Diego. Better than buona forchetta and siamo napoli. The Ingredients are light, simple and fresh. You can eat a big meal and you don’t feel stuffed and heavy, but nourished. The staff is particularly fantastic. They know every dish perfectly and can pair wine well. The owner is from capri Italy and it shows! Perfetto!”

“Friendly, helpful employees (when the line was getting long, the bartender invited us to come to him to place our order), delicious food, and excellent customer service! Normally, I’d take off a star for incorrect order (an ingredient was added that I hadn’t ordered) and food delay (it took almost 20 minutes to get food for 2) BUT this is a new establishment, so there’s going to be a learning curve. Plus, the manager gave me a gift card for my incorrect order, so all’s forgiven!😂 I’ll definitely be back there in a bit when they get settled in!”

“This has to be one of my most favorite places to eat that’s is around my neighborhood. The food was a solid 10/10, the customer service and staff were both very amazing. The atmosphere and dine in options are both very nice and welcoming, if you are around the neighborhood I suggest trying Kin Saep.”

“The best tacos we’ve had in San Diego. We hired them for our baby shower and they did an excellent job. They were early and all of our guests were raving about the tacos and their handmade tortillas. The employees were also super friendly and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. 10/10”

“GO GIVE THIS VIETNAMESE EATERY SOME LOVE! Good food! Love the interior and the food was really tasty. While i think it’s slightly priced over, the portions are really big and the quality is 100% there. Featured: Thai Tea, Crispy Chicken Wings, Rice with Shaken Beef, Bún Thit Nuong, Bún Tom. The coconut coffee slushy looked super good as well.”
