“This place was an amazing experience all the way around. From the beautiful view, the great service, and most importantly the AMAZING food! We had a large party so I tried almost everything each person got and I was incredibly impressed. So much flavor, huge portions, overall great quality. Also we got there in the middle of the lunch rush but given how quickly our food came out, you wouldn’t have known. I live in LA but visit morrow bay a few times a year to visit family. This will be our regular spot when we come right along side Firestone Grill and Splash Cafe.”

“Glad to see this new spot open up and change up the offerings in town. Didn't realize they were opening this weekend so it was cool to be among the first people to come in and check this place out. Seems like a super friendly family owned business as everyone there was really nice and seemed to be working on some aspect of the business. Really nice layout, cozy but open, and easy to read menu. Decided to try a hot and cold sandwich to test out for the first time. We ordered their philly and their peruvian triple. Both were decent size and you could see them making it. The hot sandwich goes through a small conveyor oven to cook and it worked pretty well. Their philly was different from what I normally expect, but it was pretty good. The beef was overcooked unfortunately, but the sandwich tasted good nonetheless. The peruvian triple sandwich was pretty interesting, it definitely reminded me of sandwiches I've had out of the US which made it feel more authentic. It was well made and was really fresh. It was a unique combination of flavor, I'd probably try again with their chipotle option. I'm definitely looking forward to going back to try their breakfast options. Not too many places to find crepes around here, so that should be fun. A nice unique addition to the food scene in downtown Morro Bay.”

“My wife and I just had a great lunch at Kickers restaurant in Morro Bay. My wife had the pork belly burger that she thoroughly and I had the Lobster roll. They use real lobster (I ordered my without mayo) and mixed the lobster with some of their coleslaw (a great side) it was delicious. I’ve had lobster rolls on the east coast (from Maine to Maryland) and I would rank this our as good as any I’ve had. We also had an awesome waitperson who took such care of us. Great restaurant, we will be returning often.”

“Awesome pub to chill and completely relax. They had a live band playing which kept the place toe tapping vibrant and fun. Amazing singer and band players: “Live Again Band “ lead singer was Alex from Santa Cruz. Good varieties of beers some wines and they make 3 types of mimosas. As usual they serve bar food which is not bad. The best part is that they are right on the harbour front so when you dine and drink one can gaze deep into the ocean.”

“A delightful change in this location. Better food than any Mexican 🌮 restaurant in the area. Very fresh and the Morro Bay burrito had fresh fish that was flaky and taste great. A great assortment of fresh salsa and the gentleman was very nice”

“My partner and I love their pastries. The pesto roll is great, as is their ginger cinnamon roll. The day-old pastries aren't stale so if you want to try something new for less I'd recommend them.”

“Food is fine. Service is good. All the food and meals are served on cheap paper plates and plastic. And they charge for tea. (Maybe a lot of people do but this was the first time for me.) Anyway, was more sustenance than enjoyment. Not great value. If you’re looking for ok Chinese food (and don’t mind paying for tea) this place will get it done.”

“Finally got around to trying this place and I'm sorry I waited so long! My husband and I both had the oke poke bowl and it was delicious! So fresh and the flavors were awesome. We also had the chicken skewers which were delicious as well. Can't wait to go back and try the other dishes. So stoked to have this place in Morro Bay!”

“This is one of the best patisseries I’ve been to. I tried the chocolate croissant, which was so flaky and flavorful. The danish type pastry with strawberry and cream was out of this world, as was the croissant with apricot. I wish I could have tried everything, because everything I had was phenomenal. So glad we caught this on our road trip up the coast”

“What an Amazing Experience we had. Owners Nicole and Tracy set everything up for my wife’s surprise birthday party and it couldn’t have been better. I got to choose from a great menu and the the chef delivered. The food was amazing and Nicole’s service was awesome! I would highly recommend experiencing this beautiful boat. If I could give Ten Stars I would. Thank you!!!”

“The family really enjoyed our visit to Milanes Cuban Food. The owner was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. Food is served Cafe style, packaged to either eat in or to take away. Everything was super tasty, just don't be expecting a high end dining experience. Great setting, looking out on Morro Bay.”

“Came here for the first time ordered the pozole and menudo on Sunday, everything was delicious, food was fresh and hot. Great flavors. Amazing customer service. The owners are very nice people. “Easily the best pizza that my boyfriend and I have had in CA! The dough and all ingredients on our pizza tasted fresh, you could also see him making the pizzas himself. The quality of this pizza is unmatched! The owner was also super nice and helpful; we weren’t able to eat at the place due to COVID but he gave us some suggestions of where we could sit down and enjoy our pizza.”

“Tried the Shack Burger with Swiss Cheese and an order of onion rings. This is a 12-napkin burger, my friends. Drip-down-your-arm messy burger. I suggest you order their "Special Sauce" on the side. Burgers come with leaf lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle, and special sauce. All good. Instead of their "fresh cut fries" I tried the Onion Rings. Huge order, enough for two. Not beer batter and not that horrible panko either. Seemed like maybe a blend of flour and corn meal? Tasty, not too thick. Unfortunately, they don't have salsa, so I had to settle for ketchup or the dreaded ranch dip. Luckily, the o-rings tasted fine without a dip. The food was good. I'm not sure my burger qualified for best 50 in the country. Definitely better than any drive thru chain. As good as J's Burgers or Garland's. Not quite as good as Brooks Burgers or Flavor Factory. They offer standard self-serve soda fountain drinks, beer, and milk shakes. They offer a kid's menu too. They have limited parking out front. I saw a sunny patio out back. Plenty of tables inside with counter seating too. Edit: I went back and tried their chocolate milkshake. $8 for something that took forever to make and turned out to be awful. For this outrageous price you would expect a huge, luscious, thick, and mouthwatering milkshake. Nope. Had the consistency of soft serve ice cream, grainy, artificial chocolate. Had better at burger chain drive-throughs. Skip the milkshakes here.”
