MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company

Lovely, large interior and conveniently located inside the Hillsdale Mall! Love Neopolitan-style pizza but was disappointed that our pizzas didn’t arrive at our table piping hot from the oven. Tomato sauce was tasty but a little too salty, especially when paired with the meatballs. Our dessert pizza came out too burnt on one side so the staff kindly re-fired another pie. Generally good experience but will go back to Rise in Burlingame next time I have a pizza craving.

The ambience is great, and the staff are friendly. The pizza ingredients were great. For a 5 star rating I would have wanted the pizza cooked 5 min longer.

There’s a strong possibility that there is a ghost here and it likes messing with the ice dispenser at the soda machine. Apart from that this a pretty different type of mall restaurant, and I say that in the nicest way. The staff is very nice and friendly. The pizza is a chewy thin crust wood oven style, so if that’s not your thing there’s always CPK downstairs. Will probably be back and possibly even brining the whole office with me since it seems spacious enough for everyone to come here for after work gatherings.

Love the genuine attitudes everyone has. From the servers to the cooks everyone is willing to answer your questions and make it a great experience. Brand new place opened in December with its modern look and epic furnace to fire up pizzas. Nice selection on tap beer for adventurous or local drinkers.

I’m really picky when it comes to restaurants, but this place is f****** awesome! The restaurant itself is trendy and flat out gorgeous. Wood-fired pizza strongly reminded me of my trip to Italy. Wait time is okay(20 min) but well worth it and waiters told me they just opened so it’s understandable.
