Blue Whale Poke Bar and Grill

Quantity was surprisingly great, plus food quality was not bad.

Since they just opened, majority of their food items are still not ready.
But great service from the team

Pretty good ingredients for poke. Good variety for the base - rice, yam noodle, and salad. The protein selection also includes shrimp which you don't see as often. Salmon and tuna come plain but your could request bit made spicy.

Beyond the poke there are also rolls made using the same base ingredients. There are also a few hot entrees but they didn't seem that interesting.

The menu could be done better, as there was no way to see all the protein options until you were ready to order. The portion could also be larger.

All in all a decent lunch choice.

Took my kids to Blue Whale Poke and was delightfully happy I did. $10 kids Poke bowls, $12 3 protein bowls and a large with 5 protein choices for $15! Portions and taste are legit! Great value, best quality and fresh ingredients. This is a go to for us, for sure! Best spot in the Dining Terrace at Hillsdale Mall. If you haven't done so yet.. Check this place out.

Delicious! They have many options and reasonable prices. The chef’s special poke mix, which they enthusiastically gave me a sample of when I approached, was wonderful. The seating is away from the mall hustle and bustle and has a view of the outdoors. Service was excellent and the owner both cared about our experience and seemed excited to be there. I’m not a big fan of malls but I’ll definitely brave the crowds and parking garage to come back.

Went the other day and portions were good and very flavorful. Some of the menu wasn't quite ready yet as it said coming soon. Definitely will be going back
