Shake Shack

Great tasting burgers and shakes. No combos and it’s very overpriced. Another pro is the convenience of mobile ordering and paying for it and your choice of dine in or take out. You get a text once your order is ready for pick up. On a cool weather like today we opted to eat outside and the overhead heaters were a plus.

Definitely looks bigger outside than how it felt inside. The thing that stands out to me about the restaurant is not even the burger right now, it’s the sharp edges of the tables. The burger itself tasted better than when I had the opportunity to try in NYC, so kudos there. Apart from that, this burger experience has not had an effect on my overall lunch burger spot of choice.

Shake Shack has finally made it way to SF peninsula, opening a new outpost at the Hillsdale mall....I liked their ????burger and great to see some local varieties on the menu.

Not quite the huge beer garden they advertised and with the slow service they have a lot to work out. 17 min for a burger, fries and bad chicken nuggets. 2 of 4 order terminals were closed because the kitchen couldn't keep up and had lines going out the door for 15 min wait. The nuggets tasted like they were fried from frozen as the texture was mushy not springy and moist from a fresh chicken breast and the spices were strange almost curry-like? Not worth the $5 for 6. The Golden City burger was good but too greasy for me and not worth $10. Fries were cold and had to exchange for hot ones. There's a heated patio with more tables facing the courtyard. Beers are 12 oz and $5 with 4 choices. Employees are clueless as she didn't know her menu.

Burger taste is good, little spicy not much, but price is a bit much and no hot water for choose. environment is good.
