Upscale Mexican restaurant with cute, cozy decor. Prices are not cheap but it's in a mall, so that's normal. Food was delicious! Will have to come back for cocktails. Queso fundido was excellent, tortillas are homemade!

We got the chips and guac, salad, and tacos. All the meats were very well cooked and the ingredients were high quality. The chicken and beef were super tender. The house made tortillas were delicious. My favorite taco was the fish tacos and carne asada. The only downside is they were out of fish tacos and it was only 5pm. To drink I got the horchata cocktail. I got it because it was unique but I probably won't order it again because I don't love milk based cocktails for dinner. For dessert we had the churros which were delicious. The service was friendly but super slow though. They need more waiters.

Although a long wait on Friday night, the meal was excellent. Took awhile for our drinks to arrive and check in could be improved.

New Mexican restaurant at Hillsdale mall. Interior is beautiful. They have full bar service and outdoor. The collection of the alcohol is impressive. There are not many dishes on the menu which I like. I ordered Totopos and tacos. I order carnitas, carne asada and fish. The totopos come with three types of sauce. For the tacos, I like the fish the most. The beef is a bit dry, but taste is good. The carnitas one is good. Service is good. Overall, it is good. One thing I don't get is that the restaurant allows pets inside. I saw a couple with their dog at the bar. The other which you might need to pay attention to is the payment machine. The highest suggested percentage granularity is on the left. As I remember, this is the first or second time I see this. I just watched youtube about these payment processing company like toast, square, etc, and this is one of their trick to make customer tip more. Another thing that is become the norm is that they use handheld payment and wait for you until you pay and sign. I don't like it at all. I prefer the old way. This is just me.
