“This was a very good experience just few days ago. Very nicely lit and interestingly positioned place. They have nice area of many tables under red umbrellas outside and plenty of tables inside. Our group of friends took the inside table. The walls are actually glass so siting inside one still can observe the street and it is nice. We all ordered various items on the menu - Tuna Melt sandwich, chicken crispy tenders, garlic fries and pastrami Reuben, and pulled BBQ beef. Portions are very good size. We couldn’t finish them all and the dinner leftovers become the lunch next day. I like their fries very much - they are adequate thickness, so you can later on cook them either on stovetops or in Air Frier - and they keep the moisture and the taste. I like the attention we got from all the servants, always with a smile and they were proactive about all that we might need. The presentation of the meals on the plates is also very good. I used to go to Refuge in San Carlos (it’s very good as well) and I’m glad we found this new one in Hillsdale mall - definitely recommend you to visit and enjoy it!”

“This is one of the only places my family EVER orders pizza from. We are a TOTOs family, for life. Our favorite is the #2 - sausage salami and mushroom. The sauce, the crust, everything is delicious. “These guys are the best!! We called and ordered 20 pizzas and asked them to have them made and delivered within an hour 15 and they said "Absolutely, no problem!" All 20 pizzas were cooked to perfection and the driver even brought a full pack of napkins and paper plates without us requesting. Truly incredible customer service and delicious pizza to top it off! “The food was tasty. I got the turkey burgers (cowboy and classic styles) and sweet potato fries. My husband got the beef burgers and onion rings. Daughter got kids chicken strips. All tasted good, but my fries were a bit cold. The unfortunate thing was the service. The food took about 25 mins to come out, they couldn't remember which sides went with what burgers (tho it was printed on the ticket), they forgot my daughter's chicken strips. The staff was very apologetic and accommodating, but the kitchen and wait staff seemed inexperienced. It wasn't overwhelmingly busy. (There were only a handful of groups eating there, and they already had their food.) I'm hoping that our experience was just a fluke. The food was good enough that I would go back, but if the service is that poor again, it's not worth the wait.”

“Poncho Villa's is what it wants you to think it is - a straight forward Mexican food restaurant with minimal frills. You enter greeted by a 20 foot long (6 meter) counter overflowing weigh treats of taco and burrito fillings behind a glass sneeze guard. There's a team of eight or so people making trays of food. You typically order at the counter, but you might order at the registers. Be prepared to order as the line is usually long. Know what fillings you want in your dish, what kind of beans you want and if you're eating in or taking out. The tamales are huge, and rich, but the filling can be pretty dry. The tacos are huge and the tongue filling is wonderful. But overall, you're not here for high quality food. Your here for cheap, mountains of Mexican food. You get it here.”
