“Love this little shop- I'm usually not a fan of cupcakes but Sibby's always manages to always strike the perfect balance between frosting & cake. Not only is their frosting art super cute and creative (seriously, check out their Instagram- they come up with such wonderful designs!), it tastes great- never overly sweet and tastes great (sometimes frosting at other places is too sweet and makes me feel sick). Sibby's frosting is delightfully flavorful and used in a perfect ratio to the cupcake! It's easy to tell the cupcakes are always freshly baked - they have that "fresh out of the oven" fluffiness! Sibby's makes both mini and large cupcakes, and if you just want to drop by to pick some up on a whim, you can. (Perfect for people like me who forget to plan ahead... however if you have a really large order, it'd probably be best to call ahead so they can make sure they have enough of all the flavors you'd want!)”

The current owner is a very nice gentleman and he does all he can to make this alley the best it can be.The ladies that work the desk here are all wonderful (especially Danielle). They always show they care about each and every customer! The bar has great drinks and good prices. Friendly bartenders that I really enjoy as well. Also, fresh popcorn which is a treat. When my daughter was in high school I always liked knowing she and her friends were going bowling here as I knew they were in safe hands and these days that is a huge relief. Really like the fact that the parking lot is under surveillance so I can park my car with peace of mind. If this bowling alley ever closed, a way of life for me would end....and that would be beyond sad????”

“We eat at Cheesecake Factory whenever we travel because the chain is very good with food allergies. This San Mateo location was the best one we've ever been to (both coasts and everywhere in-between). The manager on duty the night we were there, a gentleman with a mustache, is obviously talented at what he does because everything, from start to finish was perfect. All of the employees were exceptional and seemed happy to be there. Most importantly, the manager was fantastic at handling our child's allergies. We appreciate the whole staff being so terrific and especially the manager who went above and beyond.”

“I love this place. Love the bread, soft but just firm enough to hold the sandwich. Love the meat, particularly the ham, just salty and thin enough to taste and enjoy the ham flavor. I love the Mayo, not to thick and not watery. The put a ton of veggies on the sandwich that it is barely able to fit into your mouth. Heaven forbid you ask for double meat ... you will need another pair of pants a size bigger and a wheelbarrow to get you to where you want to go.”

“These guys are the best!! We called and ordered 20 pizzas and asked them to have them made and delivered within an hour 15 and they said "Absolutely, no problem!" “Came here for a tea break. Nice layout, bright, lots of natural lighting, good size with outdoor seating. Reasonably clean! Good service! Surprisingly empty on a Sunday afternoon. Used to really enjoy this chain's sandwiches and salads. But nowadays it just seems that the quality of its bread and cold cut meats have both deteriorated. The one closed to our area even closed last year. I hope they take a good review of their qualities and improve soon.”
