“Amazing Chinese food right in the heart of San Carlos. The restaurant itself is simple, but the food is great and the owner is very friendly. Another advantage is that it stays open late, so if you need a late night "snack", this is the place to be. Our favorite dishes are the chicken corn soup, The king Pao chicken (which can be made non-spicy for those who don't like it hot - still pretty tasty) and the beef with broccoli. Enjoy!”

“I love Taco Bell and I recently moved to SC and I was so excited to find a TB down the street! BUT I hate to report the 2 times I have gone I have had to wait 15 - 20 minutes for food, which I didn't mind too much. What I DO mind is having after waiting so long I would expect amazing food, but once eaten I get THE WORST tummy pains. I Know, it's Taco Bell but I never had a bad reaction like I have when I go to this location. I only hope this store gets some more staff and upgrade their food quality.”

The current owner is a very nice gentleman and he does all he can to make this alley the best it can be.The ladies that work the desk here are all wonderful (especially Danielle). They always show they care about each and every customer! The bar has great drinks and good prices. Friendly bartenders that I really enjoy as well. Also, fresh popcorn which is a treat. When my daughter was in high school I always liked knowing she and her friends were going bowling here as I knew they were in safe hands and these days that is a huge relief. Really like the fact that the parking lot is under surveillance so I can park my car with peace of mind. If this bowling alley ever closed, a way of life for me would end....and that would be beyond sad????”

“We eat at Cheesecake Factory whenever we travel because the chain is very good with food allergies. This San Mateo location was the best one we've ever been to (both coasts and everywhere in-between). The manager on duty the night we were there, a gentleman with a mustache, is obviously talented at what he does because everything, from start to finish was perfect. All of the employees were exceptional and seemed happy to be there. Most importantly, the manager was fantastic at handling our child's allergies. We appreciate the whole staff being so terrific and especially the manager who went above and beyond.”
