“Place is very outdated. Kind of more cafeteria looking. Food was pretty expensive for what you got. The prime rib was tough and could have been seasoned more. The plate was basic with no garnishes. There were only one red and one white wine or a bud light to drink if you wanted alcohol. This is changing from what I have heard. Service was okay. Our waitress said she was supposed to leave but should stay to help us. She was nice.”

“A beautiful day for traversing Lake Shasta and exploring the spectacular caverns. Every staff member we encountered was knowledgeable and friendly. From check in to the gift shop to the two bus rides, the boat ride and the actual tour, it was remarkable and delightful. If you want a full tour with guide we recommend you avoid holiday weekends. “Can you say TAMALES!!!! OH MY GOSH ABSOLUTELY HANDS DOWN THE BEST TAMALES I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME. They are moist meaty and delicious. The guacamole is made fresh on site and is so Yummy that you can't stop eating it till every spec is gone. This is a small family owned establishment and even though the decor is lacking and the AC needs to be turned on higher, the food totally makes up for it. We can't even drive by without stopping in every single time we go past this restaurant. I've been there about six times in the last 8 weeks. I don't frequently eat out but the food is so good you just can't help yourself. These folks work very hard and the most important part of any restaurant is the food itself. Also, I believe that people in customer service should be kind and helpful. Every single member of the family or anybody that comes to your table is both of these. The restaurant is always busy so I know the food is fresh. I love this restaurant!!! I give it A+++++I'll take a picture and add it to my review next time!”

“I love the updated look and feel of the old sports bar. A much needed overhaul of this place, inviting atmosphere fun fresh decor and signs make this a nice place to hangout on those oh so hot days. The food was pretty amazing! They can lettuce wrap burgers and sandwiches for those that are gluten free. We had the nachos, they home make the corn tortilla chips (which are so crispy delicious) and the cheese sauce which is gluten free also(sorry for the small photo of nachos they were Soo good I almost forgot to take a picture of them lol) The parmesan garlic fries with the chipotle aioli is Soo good. Happy hour all day on Sundays, I have to say for 4 people with 2 drinks each and the snacks it was very reasonable! 2 Pool tables, and multiple TVs, I only wish they still had darts cause that's my favorite. But we really liked this place a lot.”

“Wow. My friend and I went last night, and wow. First off, best wings in Redding hands-down. The trophy was loosely held by All-stars for a few years and Leiz just rightfully claimed it. Unbelievably crunchy, plump drums and flats. Made fresh when you order.. Hawaiian heat can’t be beat! The Leiz boat special was phenomao, fat was rendered perfected on the brisket, melted in my mouth, I literally did not have a drop left in the bowl, in fact neither of us did. We also did the seafood Cajuns fires because they sound led too wild not to try. Love the creativity on the menu, everything was executed really well and it was a full house in there. Will be back many more times.”

The tomatoe bisque soup luke warm decent flavor but could have been at least warm. The steakhouse salad was a big pass for me the steak was way overcooked and I had to look again to see if there was any on the salad. It was very thin strips which is easily why it was so overcooked. I would not go again based on the food.”

This Mexican food spot it is what you would expect to find in a much bigger city very authentic pricing is on point. Extremely flavorful, the carnitas is a bit salty but no biggie, it’s still really good. The rest of their meats are great…I can say that because I’ve tried all of them and yes it was a dream. Today I had a bean, cheese and rice burrito for five bucks it was ridiculously good. This might be my go to burrito especially if you’re trying to watch the amount of red meat consumption. I’m 40 now so I have to pay attention to those things, it sucks but it’s real. Right next to foodmax grocery store you can’t miss it!”
