“The Farmstand is a Russian River hidden gem! We are from the area and seek out dining options and we found our new favorite, farm to table dining spot. The garden that surrounds the Farmstand at The Farmhouse Inn is blooming with roses, lovely Chinese lantern shrubs and has paths scented with rosemary. The chef greeted us and made us feel welcome by the outdoor wood fire pizza oven. We loved the menu and the food was amazing with a roasted beet purée and fresh crudités, and pizza with a white sauce and a lovely mixture of mushrooms on a perfect thin crust. My husband ordered the burger on a toasted brioche bun with a savory sauce and fresh relish. It was ordered rare and served juicy, delicious and rare. We enjoyed a Sonoma grown Albariño white varietal from Miramar Vineyard and we will be ordering it again and again. We learned the lemon tart with blueberries was delicious, truly very tart and the crust was rich…..don’t skip dessert. The friendly service from Austin and Oscar was attentive and professional. We thought the creativity and extraordinary quality was well worth a foodies attention! We will be back to enjoy dinner and brunch in this casual environment soon.”

“An incredible property. Every single thing was done thoughtfully between the bellmen, check in process, the relationships with wineries. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed it, it was incredible start to finish. Stunning property and worth every penny!”

“Was given a box of cookies from them. I had to stop myself from eating my boys' share. Great owner too.”

“Basic bar food done really well. Not too greasy / overpowering. Excellent food! We had the jalapeno burger and a steak sandwich. Excellent! Onion rings and small side salad - also great. The wings smelled amazing and I would try them next time. Wish they had a better beer selection - I prefer a dark stout, but the one option wasn't great. They also have wine, but we didn't try. I think we were the only non-locals in a Friday night.”

“Can't go wrong with the recommendations and fresh ingredients. Since we were able to substitute the dessert with another second course, the two of us were able to effectively share 6 unique dishes in what felt like a light 4 courses. Delicious and very creative.”

“Longtime local drive-in offering up the usual fare with a hometown feel. Favorites are the bacon cheeseburger and vanilla malt shake. Tell Joe he's awesome if you stop by!”

“When you walk in you feel like your welcomed and a very friendly staff at that. Food was so good I had penne pesto and chicken wings are so good and I also had there garlic bread and that was good too. What I liked is that it was reasonable. Thanks for the great service and food...”

“I live around the corner from this place. The food is amazing. I love the arcade. I love that after the fires this year they helped out by donating proceeds from whatever barrel they had on tap. I love that a few of the staff are super sweet and know me by name. Why it's three stars and not a solid five is because this place has clear hours but consistently closes early. I've shown up an hour and fifteen minutes before closing and been told it's too late to order. The manager mentioned "we don't have enough dishwashers" to which I replied that I happily would wash dishes while I waited. Not joking either. They're neighbors and I grew up working restaurants. They turned me down. Also was my husband birthday and I really just wanted to spend a ton of money an to well. Hope it's better next time.”

“This was some of the best Italian food I have ever had. Which I believe is saying a lot coming from a guy who like walking distance from and frequently visits two of the best Italian restaurants in Philadelphia. The owner and head chef took our reservation call. The staff were amazing. And the wine pairings were perfect.”

“Best sandwich I have ever had. It's called The Bomb and I travel 2 hours out of my way every time I'm out that way to get it and it is the highlight of my week! Also if you love yourself get a choc chip cookie and the beet salad ”

“Food is amazing. Selection wonderfully curated. However as a resident in a small town that loves and appreciates everything local, I always wanted to love this place. I gave it shot after shot and I'm done. Disappointing considering the few options we have in town. If you're looking for couture food on the way to your wine tour by all means stop in and eat and drink and tip well. If you live in Forestville, well, I don't have to say it because we already know, but this place isn't here for us. Rosa's and Carr's and Tiny Town will charge you less and appreciate you more. None of those are gourmet, but they are cooked with love and I appreciate all of them far more. Also full truth the friend chicken is over rated. Monday is "locals night" but we don't know a single neighbor that's been and gone back. Also don't trust the hours on the website. They tend to stop taking orders when they get busy at night.”

“This is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the Russian River Valley! Great wine, great views and wonderful people. Just a heads up though, they are not currently serving lunch, brunch or dinner. You can however get a Cheese board, Deli board or a Mediterranean board and make a lunch out of these items. I highly recommended this spot!”

“Everything they make is great. If I'm not buying at Mom's - I'm buying at Kozlowski. I love their pepper jelly. Hmmmm. Ritz, cream cheese and their pepper jelly on it. What kind of pepper jelly? All of em. Depends on the day and my mood. Sometimes I buy two or three bottles. My lovely wife will ask me when I get home or back to the car - "where's the pie?" ... oh yeah ... so back in I will go .. get that bottle of pepper jelly I was on the fence about, have another sample of what ever they're sampling (it's all good) and then .. maybe I'll forget the pie again, maybe I won't. But, usually about the third time - she will tell me she's taking me to the ER for a stroke check, or, she'll get out and get the pie herself to save me from buying more stuff. Yep. I know how to play THIS game.”
