“This was my second time at the wild poppy Café in just five weeks, and it was somehow even better than my prior 5 stars I’d given it! We were craving the cosmic nachos so we had to stop by again. It was packed when we arrived for brunch around 1230, but the line moved quickly and service was fantastic. I got the turkey sandwich which is a new item and absolutely perfectly done. The ambience outside was incredible, live music and shade and a breeze for our dogs! Can’t wait to come back again.”

“Really good barbecue restaurant that’s only been open a year and a half. The tri-tip is really good, and the bbq ribs literally fall of the bone.. the man Marvin himself works the front and is an awesome person. Plenty of drinks to choose from, but no dessert options that I saw. My only little complaint was that the ribs don’t come with sauce. It makes them kind of dry.”

“Cannot say enough great things about this place. Their hospitality and care was as gracious as their portions. Co-owner, Kris, greeted every guest at the door with a handshake and a smile, while co-owner Marvin walked by cheerfully offering samples. The food was so ridiculously good and it took everything not to overstuff ourselves. The portions were very generous and the meat was perfectly prepared, flavorful, and tender. Partner and I met in Austin, TX, and the craving for authentic BBQ never dies. We left so giddy, and will absolutely be back. Thanks for a great meal, y’all!”

“I'm just updating my review because I forgot to mention Whitney and Connie and Sarah by name as having helped me, I really do believe that the store is making improvements from what it used to be, and with the new Starbucks opening up next week in the same parking lot, I believe there will be some positive changes. Also, to my surprise, there are some unique items that are low carb keto, friendly, and lots of organic options of their own sunshine brand. And Nathan and Stephanie, and Cisco, who stands there bagging everyone’s groceries without complaint. Is this place great? No, but it really did get me through COVID and had items others didn’t and I do believe all of the traffic that will be packed in that parking lot because of the new Starbucks is going to change the way Lucky improves”

“I happened to be Sebastopol this weekend and tried this brand-new restaurant and OH MY GOD I am so glad I did. The restaurant serves a seasonal menu with unique natural wines. Each dish we ordered was consistently delicious and seemed to be crafted carefully. 10/10 would recommend. My only negative is that this restaurant isn’t in Seattle (where I am from). But I guess it means I’ll have to come back! I highly recommend the dark chocolate crémeux. It was life changing!”

“I've spent quality time with pizzas all over the place, including NYC and Chicago, as well as many wonderful local places that take food seriously. This is my personal favorite pizza ever. The key is the real fermented sourdough crust, but the toppings are also super high quality local obsessive foodie wonders in themselves. Great music and bathroom art as well. Hard to save room for the fantastic fresh-baked cookies, but they are worth the effort.”
