“Great Food. Family friendly environment with a great patio and live music. Had the Swiss Bacon burger special with sweet.potato fries. Came with a nice creamy dill dipping sauce with the fries, and the most perfect level of salting to the fries. Excellent local beer and wine selection, and even some local photography hanging on the walls. To boot, it looks like they're planting their own garden out back. Farm to table in the future? Amazing!”

“What a great place, in fact, downright immaculate. The property was very well taken care of, the landscaping and vegetation were beautiful. We stayed in Cottage 24 and it was just perfect, the deck was most enjoyable. The living area had a massive window that viewed directly onto the river and we could see the bald eagle fly by each evening. Lots of cool birds on the property, they seemed very comfortable with the place too. There are several areas down by the river that had comfortable chairs where you can watch the river, I recommend evenings as the light is beautiful. The coffee was great where I enjoyed a cappuccino each morning. If you like decks and great patios, this is your place.”

Not only is the cooking excellent, but the variety of interesting menu items is a standout. I've not had duck in a while. They offer it here. In Weaverville Ca?!! And I challenge you to let Maggie at the bar make you a drink she thinks you'd like. I tried it twice and twice I was pleasantly surprised with a drink I never would've ordered. “In Weaverville, this place has super friendly service. Tangle Blue Saloon might seem small at first, but this is just the bar/pool room. Another room adjoins triple the size, with additional outside seating twice as large. Shown is one of their once a week specials, chicken fried chicken, and their everyday Tangle Blue signature salad, it is a huge meal by itself. Great selection of tap beers. Their burgers and fries are worth the menu pick, they serve it with a knife, too cut in half for easier eating. Pizza is excellent. I even have had their Gyros, twice now, and will order it again. Quality food, superior service and tasty drinks is why I keep returning. Aug 2022 .. I added another photo Buffalo Wings & Bacon BBQ Burger. Super delicious 😋”

“Visiting from another state and found this little gem! We made it just in time for breakfast which is no longer served after 11 am. The coffee was great and the food was made french to order so it did take about 15-20 minutes to get but well worth the wait.
