Great food! Everything from the salsa to the combination fajitas were excellent! Will definitely eat here again!

I used Chavolos for our wedding dinner and got the fajita bar with chicken, beef, and carnitas options! It was so delicious and we had the full service serving. They were really professional and polished. They can be hard to get a hold of at times, but they are very dependable. I couldn’t recommend more!!!!

Great food. Great service. Reasonable prices. I have lived in Pagosa over 5 years and this is still my go to place for Mexican food, and very good margaritas. Being open for over 5 years is a real achievement in Pagosa, for you have to depend on the locals as well as repeat visitors. Not Tex-Mex, with all the cumin, but a combination of Mexican street food flavors and Southwestern cuisine. They start the meal with chips and a small bowl of tasty salsa. I recently ordered the cheese enchilada plate and I could taste the quality of the cheese and I loved the firm texture. I am not a big fan of Mexican style rice, but theirs was moist, and had a great mouth feel and texture. I am almost certain the refried beans are made with lard added as the flavor was spot on, but I could be wrong. Open 7am to 9pm so many people just go there for breakfast. Don't be put off by the hole in the wall appearance, they stake their reputation on the plate. I live for small local places like this one.

Food was decent. Can't give an honest opinion on the service. They were very busy during our visit, the staff did their best to keep up.

Hidden gem!!! Best meal we had in Pagosa Springs. I had the steak and enchilada dinner for $20 that was amazing and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The fresh chips and salsa were on point! We’ll definitely be back (service was also Awesome)
