“Previously the Boulder Chophouse, post COVID-19 re-opening they were able to keep their previous servers, which is awesome because their servers are amazing! The updated happy hour is earlier than it used to be and has more options to choose from. There is also an updated food menu that includes MASSIVE sliders. It only has two, but trust me when I say that they could easily been a meal. Their shishito peppers are also incredible. Just enough spice but not too spicy that it isn't palatable if you aren't into spice. The Paloma is refreshing and delicious. I recommend asking for it with a jalapeno if you want to put on a spicy twist. The dinner menu is also very good even though it is limited, which is common considering the new capacity limits. The steak is a generous portion and their specials are well planned. We were there as anniversary dinner and had a free dessert, so be warned the portions are HUGE! :) I recommend sharing the cake. lol! As shown in photo! I can't wait until their full menu returns. They also have a really nice expanded outdoor space to offer way more outdoor dining in the nice weather and still stick to the COVID-19 restrictions.”

“So my mom went in for me and ordered a violet drink, she can back to what looked and tasted like a dragon drink. I went in by myself and asked for it to be remade politely. The person who handled it was nice. She gave me the drink and it looked exactly the same. But I gave them another chance, it tasted like a violet drink but looked like the dragon drink. It was not the right color but I didn’t care because it tasted like the violet drink. And also my mom asked for a cafe vanilla frap and they had no idea what it was, and said they don’t have that here.”

“This may be the best restaurant I’ve been to in the last year. Portions are small which did not leave me wanting more. The favors are so good I just enjoyed what I had. It’s also a small establishment maybe has a dozen or more tables which gave it a very personal feeling. Healthy and tasty and innovative too. That’s the Oak. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because at the price point that this establishment is located at the food could have been a little bit more upgraded. The meat was good but not excellent the sauces were slightly too salty. But the service and ambience overcame most of these issues.”

“Like many people, we found this eatery by accident - Pizza? Sure! Who doesn't love pizza? They had a great selection of slices from huge decadent combos to the most basic cheese and red sauce. The crust was thin (bot not crunchy) and was not full of grease like some NY style slices are. Great flavor, my daughter and I ended up eating there two days in a row. Very simple interior with seating in the back of the shop. I would recommend!”

“Traditional and consistent. This IS my favorite place to eat, when on Pearl. You will get Falafel in every bite! Portions are heavy. Been coming here over 10 years. The best quality food ever. Good for Vegan and Vegetarian, also meat dishes, too. You simply walk in order and it's being prepared in no time, service is prompt. You seat Your self. Clean and cozy. The lighting is bright but diffused. Good for a fun casual first date. About 9 bucks for a satisfying meal!”

“WOW! We both ordered the fixed price 3 course meal, ordering different dishes and sharing. It was a farm to table experience that was just OFF THE CHARTS. The flavors were the flavors of the food--meats and vegetables mostly from their own farm--not just a sauce over the top. And it was beautifully presented. I haven't enjoyed a meal so much since I don't know when. And the service was so attentive, professional, and charming. WE paid $38 each for the 3 course meal, and it was a BARGAIN. I absolutely mean it. If 5 stars is "Excellent," this was a 7 or 8 star experience. If you are in Boulder, you MUST go!”

The Greek Salad was good enough too, though I've gotten the same meal at other places for much less than $15. The beer was decent and the drinks were standard. However, I was very surprised to be charged an extra $2 for one cube of ice for my already $13 whiskey... Really, $2 for one 1.25" block of frozen water?!?”

Was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and had the whole process explained to me when I revealed that this was my first time there. “While staying at the Hilton next door, I came here twice: once for drinks and once for dinner. I had incredible service both times, and both of the bartenders were fantastic conversationalists and made me feel welcomed. The food was of good quality; the sliders were good and they even had a seared cauliflower steak, which was grilled perfectly. It's a hotel bar and restaurant, yes, but it's worth coming here! If you get Tabitha, she makes the best margaritas I've ever had.”

“Quick pizza lunch with flair and style. Its great to see all of the support here in Boulder and California Pizza Kitchen has a light inviting atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful with many suggestions. The lunch menu is very inclusive and reasonably priced. The bbq chicken pizza is a fun twist and is delivered piping hot. With the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese and a crust that frames the toppings masterfully it’s the choice I’d like to recommend.”
