Pickup's Pizza Company

Okay this is a hard one, the pizza was good (native Detroiter) but I watched the guy literally tear my pizza apart trying to get it out of the pan. Then he saw me sitting there watching and went behind the wall where I couldn't see him. But I could still hear about it and all the cursing. Instead of saying mam we accidentally messed your pizza up they through more cheese on it and melted it. I didn't realize it was my pizza that was mangled until I got home and took it out. The right thing would have been to own up to ot, and let me know. Not hide it. So that experience explains your 3 instead of a 5

very good pizza made from fresh ingredients. Also a really cool decor both inside and out.

Love this pizza place. I was born and raised in ny eating pizza atleast 3 days a week and have fallen in love with this place. Definitely more of boutique pizza but still is delicious.

Ordered Pickup’s from the red phone at Bonfire. We had to call back after about 45 minutes because we still had nothing even though the delivery guy kept coming back with more pizza. They rectified the situation on the next delivery, we were understanding because we could tell they were swamped.

The pizza was GREAT. I’ve never seen the sauce on top of the cheese but I really liked it - it doesn’t saturate the dough and disappear overnight. I even flew the leftovers with me to Boise and ate them for dinner the next night.

The arrangement they have with Bonfire is great and the delivery rider has card processing capabilities with him when he arrives. I’d definitely eat Pickup’s again if I ever find myself in the area.

Highly recommend this place. Super friendly staff, eager to help and make conversation. I’m from out of state, way out of state, and the guy was very welcoming and eager to help me decide on the right option for me. Pizza was really good and I recommend the deep dish. I think it’s awesome they have a delivery connection set up with a local brewery. I would eat here again and recommend.
