“Ordered the curry and it was very flavorful! Everything was made fresh to order. Ordered spicy and it had just enough heat. My friend ordered Pad Thai and also loved her food.”

“We arrived at 4 pm. Right with the rush from the mtn. We sat at the bar, the bartender was great. Ended up having 3 margaritas and 2 beers, w tip it was less than $50, bargain. The bar was busy and cozy. Definitely worth the drive.”

“My wife and I love this place and bring a lot of friends in. There's a lot of reasons that we think Sunrise Minturn offers the best breakfast in the Vail valley. Of course there is more than breakfast, with some delicious lunch items as well. The Holy Mountain Cristo and Reuben are amazing lunch options. For breakfast, I love the Lou's Scramble and the corned beef hash and of course the massive breakfast burrito. Beyond that, they serve Color coffee, which is delicious local coffee out of Eagle. Booze and beers too with some cleverly designed cocktails. If you're visiting Vail, Minturn or Avon, this is a great low key spot with all sorts of good things to eat and drink.”

“This is the best hidden gem in all of Vail. I haven't had a dish here that isn't amazing. There's something for everyone, the servers are all so nice and authentic. It's like you've taken a trip to Nepal without the long airplane ride. Highly recommended. Chicken tandoori is amazing, veggie coconut korma is also a must, and the veggie balls. All so good. We're here once a week.”

“Beautiful restaurant, really lovely. They were very nice to allow us to change tables to a quieter area since we made the reservation weeks if not months ago, and we wanted side by side seating as we were celebrating our anniversary. Everyone was welcoming upon our arrival, wished us a happy anniversary and even provided a complimentary glass of champagne. Thank you so much! A couple of notes, someone else commented in the reviews on how wonderful the bread was-we were not offered any bread or asked if we wanted to order any bread (it appears it is on the menu for a price). They brought the salad plates out before the appetizers and they put my soup bowl on top of my salad plate (the soup was not hot). My husband had to move his salad plate out of the way for his appetizer. When my soup bowl was removed, the plate which was underneath the soup bowl remained for my salad. They took my husbands silverware with the appetizer plate and did not replace it. The Caesars Salad for two was good but not spectacular as you would imagine for almost $50. The ribeye was good and was carved at our table. Our server was very nice, however was very busy with large tables and we could see was doing their best. We opted out of dessert. The server brought a handheld unit to the table to process the check and credit card so be prepared with the tip calculation because the server is waiting.”

“Get the local trout, blueberry old fashioned cocktail, the flourless chocolate cake and the coffee.. you won’t be disappointed! Also.. get there at 5:30-6 and you won’t have an issue finding a table! This is my go-to restaurant when I have friends in town visiting. Burgers are incredible too. Tater tots are kind of mandatory!”

“We dropped in for an early dinner on a Sunday night and our party of five were seated quickly. We started with a pepperoni pizza and friend calamari, both of which were delicious. The calamari also included some large fried shrimp and we enjoyed them so much, we ordered another while we waited for our entrees. We shared a few items like the Kobe beef steak sandwich, the lobster ravioli, and spaghetti and meatballs. Not a single thing was left on the plates after our group made short work of the amazing offerings. For dessert, the creme brûlée, tiramisu, and profiteroles made their way to the table but quickly disappeared. The service was exceptional, the food incredible, and the whole experience was top notch. La Bottega is a great stop for great Italian.”

“This place is weird. Only drank here, sometimes it's dead and sometimes it's shoulder to shoulder. Had fun though.”

“We tried the restaurant for the first time recently for our son's birthday, making last minute reservations on a busy evening. The host team gave us a friendly greeting upon arrival and were helpful with storing our coats for the evening. Our waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu since this was our first visit. She was attentive but not obtrusive. We all had different entrees and were very pleased! The bacon wrapped scallops were amazing and my halibut (the evening special) was very good as well. We tried several appetizers and salads and were pleased with all of our selections. Our waitress was a bit aggressive in trying to fill our wine glasses repeatedly, but was very sensitive when we asked her to hold off a bit. Perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. We will return!”

“Delicious! My partner Kyle and I were hungry for a big breakfast today and stopped into Ludwig's. Their breakfast buffet was superb. $42/person for all items: Examples being waffles, pancakes, fresh smoothies, acai bowls, bagels, omelette station, yogurts, oatmeal, fine cheeses, benny's, donuts, you name it and included coffees and teas. Totally worth it. The waiters are from all over the globe and were so kind and attentive. Highly recommend!”

“Great food. Would definitely go back. Besides the apples, which were $8(slightly overpriced, ha), everything was very reasonably priced. My wife and I were pleased with the service. On the slower end but we didn't mind because we were enjoying ourselves. The restaurant was very neat.”

“Such a fun dining experience. Friendly staff, unique atmosphere and great food made this one of my favorite restaurants on our vacation. Schnitzel and smoked salmon (pictures) were big hits. Our party also enjoyed the duck and broiled meat dishes. The pretzel had a fun presentation. And the cheese fondue was delicious!”

“Absolutely & Ridiculously Delicious. Everything was amazing, the gnocchi were some of the best I ever had and the trout tagliatelle was one of the best pasta dishes ever. The service was exceptional as well, friendly and attentive.”

“Absolutely the best restaurant in Vail. Writing that comes easy for so many reasons. First of all, people know that this brand is truly outstanding, due to the incredibly high quality food and the exceptional culinary artistry. Any foodie already knows this. Secondly, what makes this one of the best restaurants in Vail is the fact that the wonderful staff genuinely enjoys working together, collaboratively, and all authentically are supremely into the food, drinks, and the experience they create for their guests. General manager Jordan, restaurant manager Max, and servers Aubry and Cornelius are my favorite people here. They present themselves as tour guides who lead the restaurant guests on a delightfully delectable journey. And, thirdly, the ambience, decor, and location of the restaurant are ideal. It is easy to get to. And, while it is justifiably a very busy restaurant, it is easy to get into for a meal. Of all the Matsuhisa locations, this is one of my very favorites.”

“We were recommended this place so ate here for dinner. The sushi was really good, it just seemed like everything we ordered was really spicy. The ambiance and service were very nice, and the prices weren’t too crazy for being in Vail. Would recommend!”

“My entire family loved their meal. My extremely picky 15 year old wants to come back every night for dinner! He had the spaghetti and a Caesar salad. We also had a pepperoni pizza, rigatoni and a French onion sandwich. Everything was delicious and the service was quick and friendly.”

“A great place to eat while in Vail. The place was busy but the food came quickly and it was delicious. I started with the edamame which had the perfect salt balance to it and the sauce that came with was to die for. We shared the seafood tower which had a ton of fresh seafood. Ordered the steak for dinner and it was Cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to go back next time I visit Vail.”

“Fantastic dinner. We asked our server, Sunny for advice as we have eaten here before and always enjoyed it, but we weren’t sure if we try something else. We tried some new things and some of our favorites and were not disappointed with anything. Shane was assisting Sunny and could not have been nicer or more helpful. We are in the area often and will be sure to continue visiting.”

“Every. Single. Time. So great, chefs take time to properly prepare each dish. They are an open kitchen, so they take visible pride in making the best in presentation, but mostly combinations of flavors that are unique and delicious. Make your reservations at least 2 months out, or show up at 5 and 2 can eat at the bar.”
