Tequila's Mexican Restaurant

It was good for what we ordered. They spread everything out pretty thin but we still were full. Carne asada is really thin, sort of a crispy skirt steak. Carnitas was better

Complimentary tortilla and salsa are good. Margaritas are good also.

My tequila special plate (shrimp w/ verde sauce w/ rice) was good but just slightly excessive with the lime in the verde sauce. The chicken fajita was oily but most fajitas are oily to prevent from sticking to the hot plate.

Jonathan was able to give my group individual receipts as requested even though we were in one table - no mixups in the food nor the checks.

Tequila's is a small restaurant tucked in a corner of a small shopping plaza. It is a little bit of a dive, but the food is fantastic. It's a favorite of locals and came highly recommended. After tasting the wonderful salsa and amazing chmichanga, I can see why.

I could see parking being a little bit of a challenge during busy times. I was there at lunch time on a Friday and it was surprisingly busy.

The only reason it's not 5 stars is just because of the size and location. It's definitely a place to visit though!

Great food! Awesome service - lovely margaritas ~ the only thing I didn’t enjoy was the birthday ritual, but I can see how someone who doesn’t mind the attention would like it. They give you a huge sombrero and sing to you while smearing whipped cream on your face 😂😭 for me this was mortifying but my mom thought it was hilarious 😆 will most definitely be back (just never on my birthday again)

After visiting Mesa Verde, we decided to have dinner here before going back to the hotel. House Margarita on the rock was very good. We ordered Steak Ranchero and Pollo Nuevo Mexico. Both were delicious. Our waiter and all staff there were very attentive. Very nice dining experience overall.
