“For a tiny town with limited options I was pretty blown away. Cool atmosphere, great service and menu variety. At first I wondered why my wrap was $15 but then I got the wrap! It was huge. And great. Chicken/Bacon/Ranch. The chicken was grilled and the bacon was crispy. Got the potato salad and that was excellent as well. Very thankful to find this little gem. Will gladly return. Probably won't be going anywhere else from now on.”

“Al's Pits Campground is the perfect spot for group camping. We rented the entire campground for our event. It has a band stand, dance floor, 2 out houses, 1 shower, gazebo, numerous fire pits, running river, pond with paddle boats,dump station, 30 amp and water available. Delicious BBQ, jerky, turkey legs and much more. The best part of all was Mr. Al himself! Such a great, genuine person. He made our celebration the best it could be due to his accomadating nature. I love that they source Colorado, natural fare (even the Ketchup), and it's a perfect place to spend a nice afternoon outside on their deck when you're craving a hot dog. Just know that the local ground squirrels and chipmunks are very used to getting fed and will certainly be at your feet to beg! Make sure you read up on the history of this building and how it was moved from it's previous location! But I can remember seeing this iconic and fun building all through my childhood. It's something your own children definitely won't forget.”
