“Great food, fast service. Stumbled into Monte Vista completely by accident and we were very happy we did. Solid Mexican food. Definitely recommend the green and red chili sauces. Pork Green chile was a good standalone, but wouldn't recommend getting a burrito smothered in it (too thin). Lots of great options. No alcohol on site, but they did let us bring in a cooler of beer, which was awesome. Super relaxed. Just wish there was some outside seating to better enjoy the nice downtown area and views of the Sangres!”

“RainBrews What a interesting place and I loved it. It is so eclectic. I want to come back to have a brew. I ate at the actual restaurant and it wasn’t bad. Rhiannon was so kind and I thanked her for working. She has a huge smile and was excited about the menu. Add the vegetable beef barley soup, open face pot roast beef sandwich other than gravy on bread, it was OK, I had parts of it but that was very cool almost cold, it did not make me jump up and down. I would go back, I would not eat what I had today but I would try some like their burgers look absolutely amazing. I love this community, I had a great conversation with some locals, Quite informed. I think they could kick it up a notch for the food but everything else was perfect that’s why I gave them a five, not a four. I WOULD RECOMMEND.”

The portion sizes are large, the variety is extensive and we didn't get that weighed down feeling Chinese food sometimes induces. Great find and great restaurant.”

“Their sausage was phenomenal!! It has amazing flavor. Their sweet tea is so good. I have tried their turkey and guacamole sandwich, the Ultimate breakfast, the Sunflour special, and their omelets. Every one of them were great. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is the cinnamon rolls displayed have a ton of frosting so they are so eye appealing. I ordered one to go and I was given one out of a different pan and it barely had frosting and it was dry. I was very disappointed.”

“Never tried a Hawaiian burger but I was pleasantly surprised! There french fries were really good and obviously made in the restaurant. The Hawaiian burger with fries was about 12 bucks and also huge; I didn’t think I would get that much for my money. My family had the beef fajitas and enchiladas with tostadas which were once again amazing! I would recommend trying this place if you’re in the area!”
