“I have had several meals at the Chelsea over the last few years, and they have all been great. My favorite dish is the grilled octopus appetizer. When food is pricey, I want it to be worth it, and my dish exceeded my expectations. I also had a great cocktail. “How have I missed this adorable place? Did it get a makeover or has it always been this cute? Stepping into Las Vetas is like walking into a cafe in a cute Vermont town: it's cozy, the walls are covered in quaint historical memorabilia, and the place has a friendly, college-town air to it. There are lots of choices, from baked goods to penny candy, and their drinks are fairly-priced. I'm a little smitten, and I look forward to making this a regular writing spot.”

“This place is OK. atmosphere changes depending on the night you arrive. Ordered shrimp tacos only to receive spoiled mango on top. Waitress said chef said it was the "lime" on the mango BUT I guess they didn't know I actually have had actual mango with lime and THIS was 1000% not it. returned it to get steak tacos only for steak to not be seasoned. Drinks are actually decent and waiters too but if you want to have a yummy meal maybe look somewhere else.”

And so so much sauce that how would one even know the taste of the ravioli. After spending $100.00 I am sorry to say it wasn’t really worth $50.00. It’s more like a factory in there!! The menu is new, and while it has held on to some of the favorites from Madeline, like the to-die-for butternut squash soup, there are many new and exciting choices. Their food was great because they put passion and all of their hard working skills into it. “The only constant in life is change. Somethings never change and that is good. Mancuso's restaurant in Fairfield has been serving great traditional Italian cuisine since 1977. If a restaurant stays in business for almost 50 years is there really any negative publicity one can give? If there is it's insignificant. Mancuso's is absolutely delicious, family friendly, great ambience and very reasonably priced. As I've said numerous times, "A business is only as good as the people it hires". Mancuso's has an excellent staff. Personable, friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Our waiter, Brian, does not only possess these traits as an excellent waiter but his level of attentiveness made it seem like I had my own private butler. In addition to his great service his English was perfect!!!! Kudos to Brian and to Mancuso's.”

“It's not to often that we visit a place like this for lunch. This being a favorite place for the best hot dogs, and me having another favorite place for hot dogs in more central CT, I was curious. The choice of how they offer hot dogs is great, many more than what I usually go for. One in particular sounded like what I would get at my favorite place. I don't recall the name of it, but had a meat sauce that sounded but with a few more toppings. We also had a huge plate of fries and chicken nuggets, all of which were great. Cutting to the chase it's a very good hot dog. Does it beat my favorite? No. While I think it's tough to get a bad hot dog, I think it's even harder to get a great hot dog... So would I go here again? Yes, if we happen to be in the area I won't definitely go back. It'd be very curious to try the other toppings that they offer.”

“Amazing food, even better service! I’ve never had such great service at a restaurant before. I’m not even exaggerating. So glad we discovered this local treasure. Everything tasted great and the shrimp scampi I ordered was fantastic. My only suggestion would be to change the Lobster Mac and cheese — it wasn’t bad but it would taste better if it was baked and made with 3-4 different cheeses. Not as rich or cheesy as I would have liked. Now, let’s get to the best part — our server/host, Karim, who was exceptional! He gave us the type of service you wish you could leave a $500 tip for. Engaging, charismatic, funny, courteous, polite, patient, knowledgeable, kind and attentive (even to my daughter). Such an amazing experience largely due in part to his world class service. The other staff member who helped with our meals did a great job too. Make sure you visit 348 Oyster Bar and tell them I sent you! I plan to visit again for Mother’s Day and my birthday. ????”
