“Ate at Bistro 83 tonight before a concert a few doors down. First,let me say, our server was super sweet and the food was delicious! Had pupusas, husband had a beef dish and I ended up with rice, beans and tostones. All good. And the pineappletini was yummy as well. The restaurant was understaffed but things like that happen...we had to wait a little but we didn't mind. My only complaint- i am vegetarian and had read in another review that the restaurant had "great vegan options" so I was happy about that. I even confirmed with a staff member prior to making reservations (they told me to just ask for the vegan menu when I arrived). I asked and the server said nothing like that existed. (She even double checked). She said they had salads. Vegans and vegetarians want more than salads. So my one suggestion is to have a few plant based options for the weirdos. But all in all, we had a delicious meal, nice flavors, perfectly seasoned, reasonably priced, good portions. Would go back when we are in the area. For you meat eaters, the menu is extensive with lots of choices.”

“Good bagels and breakfast at very reasonable prices. Comparing these bagels to a nearby competitor, these were larger and lighter, but not better. The cream cheese was creamier and better. Also, my three bagels and 1/4 lb of cream cheese was $5.08 vs. $6.52 at the other shop. The store isn't much to look at, service was decent, selection limited. Price independent, edge goes to the nearby bagel place but I certainly like this place.”

“We decided to come try out Sono boil for my daughter birthday party. When we first walked in their was a robot host which brought us to our seat. My daughter love the robot. I ordered the 1lb of the headless shrimp with the Sono special sauce and it was delicious. The crab fries and Kobe sliders were perfect for the kids. At the end of the meal the robot brought us over ice-cream and even sang a cute birthday song for us. If you have a big party of people I highly recommend checking this place out.”

“Amazing food!! Amazing staff!! While traveling through CT I searched on google for some Halal Food and and a familiar name popped up on my phone, I thought it was a mistake but when I looked closely it was a shahs halal food in CT!! I was super excited and immediately changed my route to head that way. As I got to the location there was plenty of parking and the store looked amazing, and clean. The staff were looking so professional and they acted that way as well, the owners were all there making sure everything went smoothly as it was their first week open, I met the owners and shared with them that I have been a customer of shahs ever since they had a small cart on a corner in queens, they were super nice and appreciative. Now to the food!! I ordered the my usual lamb and chicken over rice with extra white sauce and a little hot sauce and I splurged a little and added pita ?!! The food was amazing and fresh like always!! I wish them much success and when I’m in the area I will surely visit again!!”
