“I went to Popeye to try the chicken since I've actually never tried Popeye's chicken before and figured I'd go check out the new one in town. So, I've given the place 3 stars because I believe they deserve the benefit of the doubt, but here are a few things they need to work on. 1st think I notice is that everyone working there seemed a bit frantic for lack of better words. There weren't many people actually ordering. The gentleman at the counter seemed to be trying to wrangle in the employees as they all where running around all and chattering away. There was one customer who had been waiting for some time for her order. I ordered the 4 piece combo and got my order fairly quickly and the order was what I ordered so there was no problem with that. The soda machine only had diet coke and root beer which after I poured it since it was all they had I realized was also diet. Another thing I noticed is that it seems like they didn't promote their opening as I've driven by a few times and didn't realize they had already opened. All in all there is room for improvement but the quality of food was fine and I do wish them the best of luck and success.”

“It was my first visit last night and the kitchen/server gave me wrong food/to go order last night but LuLu made it right. She even brought my correct order to my hotel and made sure it was perfect. I went back today for Happy Hour and was greeted pleasantly by LuLu and she recognized me. I was also greeted by the Restaurant Manager who also wanted to make sure all was well. They truly care about customer satisfaction at this establishment. Their quality of customer service is what has already made me what promises to be a loyal patron.”

“Wonderful shop hidden in plain sight on Newfield Avenue. A small space full of delicious and varied foodstuffs, offering savory reminders of Central Europe. Managers most helpful. A shopping trip there makes for a great break from American supermarkets, and to top it off Polish export prices are a good bit lower than other European competitors while following EU food production norms. “I moved to Stamford 2 years ago and this is one of the first restaurants I tried, and fell in love with their delicious dogs. I often come here during my dinner breaks when working across the street in Ridgeway Plaza. By now they know my order by heart and are always super polite, so I love their service. Food always comes out quick, hot and delicious; honestly they have some of the best dogs and fries in town for a reasonable price :)”
