“I work as a real estate agent about 45 minutes away from this cafe. Every time I’m up here to look at properties, I stop here. By far one of the best cafes I’ve visited. Kind staff, good coffee. (Very strong coffee but that’s how I like it) the bagels are amazing. I will say that the breakfast sandwiches aren’t the best but there’s so many other good things on the menu that I can’t even complain.”

“So glad we decided to try this newly opened Sandwich Shoppe, Places that can provide you with a delicious quick meal are few and far between, happy to report Lou & Mo’s is one of those rare gems. Making a great meatball is not an easy thing to do. I’m an older Italian lady who judges all meatballs by my own they need to be well seasoned, tender and just the perfect texture. The meatballs at Lou & Mo’s are perfection, When the owner stopped by the table to see how everything was I asked her if she stole her Mom’s meatball recipe. She laughed said it was indeed her Mom’s recipe and asked me how I knew I told her meatballs that good could only come out of the kitchen of an older Italian lady because they take years to perfect. My 1/2 meatball sub was on a toasted garlic buttered roll with delicious Sunday sauce and house roasted peppers (I opted out of the mozzarella). It was served with a crisp, fresh well dressed coleslaw and hot crispy French fries perfection! My dining companion is a vegan he was happy to see Lou & Mo’s had several options for him. He chose the vegan Cobb salad, Romaine & Kale dressed in olive oil and a red wine vinaigrette, topped with house roasted veggies, avocado, walnuts tomato and red onion. A generous salad, well dressed tasty and beautifully presented he was very happy. Needless to say we are looking forward to returning,”

“I just posted this restaurant on my home page urging all my friends and family to run there. It is the best new edition to this area. Beats the restaurants in W.Hartford,Avon, etc. I have complained for years that wee had to leave here to eat. Who thought I’d find a great place here in town. Great wine selection and great service. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love food. Would have gone back tonight, but had to eat the remaining food from last night. Our waitress even made us a fresh pot of coffee to top off the wonderful meal.Great desserts too !”

“So NO WHERE in Berlin is open after 10pm.. I never knew about this spot as crazy as that sounds. I saw it on a FB ad thing, I called at 10:10pm (they should have already been closed) but the owner offered to take my order and make it for me even though they were closing it down for the night... ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW..... BIG BUSINESS OVER THERE... The food was OFFICIAL.... The customer service was OFFICIAL and professional (they went above and beyond for me)... When I got my food it looked more like a work of art... Very generous portions like the sandwich alone did me in and it went downnnnn... Dope joint and ill definitely be coming here A LOT more often... Its crazy nowadays you pay more for less and have to sacrifice the way its made too but not here its the opposite, NOT ONLY DO YOU GET MORE but its not crazy expensive and the owner (who was mad cool) actually takes care in how he makes it and even presents it... You can't find love like that anymore... Again thank you to the owner for taking my order after they were closed and hooking me up with so much food (and amazing food at that)... I never review because hardly any place is even worth a review but this is the spot right here... This is the jump off right here ("spot to be" for all who don't know Wu-Lingo) haha.. Uncle D's is by far a much better diner than the previous restaurants. Staff is great and so is the food. Hours are a bit short, but that just might be a good thing.
