“We got take out and at first finding the place was confusing, as it’s in Odins lounge and doesn’t have visible signage until you get close, but it’s very good! We used to have to drive to Glastonbury for their pizza, but now it’s much closer! I would just recommend, as someone who placed an online order, letting people know somewhere in the checkout process that the location is inside Odín’s!”

“Fantastic place. Not exactly a cafe per se. The service was great, and beer was nice and cold. The only "downside" is that they don't actually have food. You will need to order it over at Luna, which is attached and can be entered within the building. They have fantastic food thiugh if you do decide to order! Almost forgot that it is a very local bar where everyone seems to know each other. We were the outsiders, but I'm sure they'll remember us since my wife forgot her purse. Staff and other customers took to it to make sure her purse was behind the counter. Thank you!”

“Surprisingly good, thin, pizza. I'm used to thicker pizza, but this wasn't bad. The dough was a bit chewy (jaw got tired after eating a few slices), but the taste was solid. I'd recommend it if you're into thinner pizza. Plan to get take out, there really isn't seating inside (unless you want to sit inside Old Town).”

“I had a wonderful experience at Gran Cafe Coffee Lounge. The lounge itself is very clean inside and the staff is super friendly, they have plenty of parking in the back as well. I ordered a couple sweets and had an amazing sausage egg and cheese sandwich. The atmosphere is very relaxing and there is tons of comfortable seating to enjoy your coffee and breakfast. I will be coming back soon.”

The issue was a number of items we ordered took longer than normal to prepare or they were unavailable. One example was Naan 🫓 was unavailable at all as they were missing the equipment to prepare it.”

“Tonight I ordered dinner with Doordash and was not disappointed. We got the whole roasted chicken with some plantains, rice with peas, and beans. Also some cakes. It was so delicious. Fed a family of 4 including a picky little man. I will definitely be ordering again to try more off the menu. Dear owner, if you respond , please recommend your favorite dish! “Burrito was definitely a step above; great filling ratio, nicely toasted tortilla. Quesadilla was nice and crispy, instead of the either hard and dry or a bit soggy quesadillas I've had from other restaurants. Tons of grease were definitely used to achieve this, though... I had to pat it down with napkins quite a bit. I like greasy food so it's not a problem for me, but it might be a turn off for some. It was also great value for food so it's definitely worth giving this place a try.”

“AMAZING FOOD! The FXF Steak and Fries were delicious! The NY Strip was cooked perfectly and was juicy and so tender that you could cut it with a fork. The Forge Fries were the best ever! Never tasted anything like them before! Karrigan’s Biscuits were so good, we ordered a second plate of them! Everything we had was so good! Looking forward to trying out their breakfast next and will definitely return for dinner!”

“I found myself on an off side road adjacent to Park St in the Frog Hollow district of Hfd. I pulled around on my bike to see a bright red neon sign , and it drew me right in. I had to see what was inside such an oasis in area. I immediately smelled the various grilled delights coming from behind the counter. A lovely hispanic woman came, smiled, and took my order. I just ordered a simple ham and cheese grinder and it was more than simple. Ham piled up on the roll next to wafer thin Swiss cheese. Then all the fixings I could want for with shredded lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar , oregano, salt and pepper. By the time I got my order, I had a very warm feeling about the place. I asked them how long they were there and they all perked up and said the store had been family owned , and managed for over 25 years. I can't wait to go back and dive into their specialty , Steak and cheese grinder. Don't miss it, just around the corner from broad and russ st, the yummy Boriqua Market is tucked in on Lawrence St. Enjoy the selection!!”
