“We decided to try Geppetto on East Main in Torrington .We sat at the bar to enjoy a relaxing dinner. The Bartender made a very good expresso martini. The meat/cheese board appetizer was outstanding. My NY strip was tasty but could have been cooked to the medium I ordered. My friends fish was tasty but cold 🤷♂️. We will be back to try it again sometime in the new year.”

“What a charming and comfortable place this is! The chef, staff, and owner seem to exist only to please their patrons, and I am well pleased every time I dine there. Prices are good, too! The salad I had yesterday featured fresh mixed greens with a big filet of perfectly cooked salmon and equally perfect hard boiled egg. Sweet grape tomatoes and a savory salad dressing made for a great meal. I will recommend to friends and family.”

“Fantastic! Found Zack and Lou’s after looking at other reviews and we were very happy with the result. My family had the pulled chicken, ribs, brisket, and pork belly burnt ends. Along with a whole host of sides. The meats were perfectly cooked/smoked. Juicy, tender, and falling-off-the bone... you name it. Sides were all excellent. Best collard greens I have had in a long time. The counter service was extremely fast (and friendly). Parking was tight due to snow piles and certainly due to the popularity. But that is a good problem to have. Can’t wait to go back. If you appreciate the “real deal” smoked bbq, then this is your spot. You will love it.”
