“It's difficult to find authentic Hispanic food this far north (without going to Wallingford), but Taqueria Cinco nails it. The food here is great every time. I highly recommend the menudo. This time of year, menudo is the perfect solution to keep yourself warm. If that doesn't sound good, then the pozole is equally fantastic. Personally, my favorite meat here is the Carne Enchilada! Get that in a quesadilla, and you're in for a delicious meal. The selection of jarritos is excellent as well. Tamarind is easily my favorite, along with the mandarin. Horchata. The usual drink of choice with Hispanic food. Most places use a simple mix packet; however, they make their horchata from scratch. It's absolutely worth trying! Let's not forget desserts! The flan is sublime, and the tres leches cake is to die for; creamy and soft with so much flavor! All in all, this is an easy 8.5/10. I'll definitely be returning regularly.”

“Great location to visit for breakfast. Parking is a little tricky when busy, but there is a little bit of available parking behind the location. Though it is accessible from pretty much any parking lot in the town center. Pulled pork was excellent, great breakfast option. Definitely worth checking out on a trip to Westbrook.”

“Newly opened. Stopped in and had their carbonara. Large serving. Very tasty sauce. Not over salted which can be an issue in many restaurants. Interior has had a nice make over. Warm colors. Very friendly staff and great service. I’ll be back.”

“Love the new Giant Grinder. I think it's funny they ask if your sure you really want the large. Also one time I ordered a large meatball which should come with peppers and onions but I just got a sandwich with just meatballs and cheese. I'd just recommend to be specific with the toppings you want but this is something they could improve on. I like my sandwiches loaded and they always seem to be hesitant to add a lot of toppings”

“The food was excellent and our outdoor table was very nice. I only gave a 4 star because the owner never wears a mask. And he doesn’t have people skills. I wish he’d calm down and enjoy his business.”

“First time here and it was wonderful! George, the owner offered great conversation.. He showed us many new ideas that are coming. Our server was very good. I ordered the prime rib special and enjoyed it so much! My husband was very happy with the strip steak he ordered. They are going to have lots of live entertainment coming, and will offer whole belly clams by the end of the month! Can't wait to return!”

“We came in to warm up and ordered 2 English breakfast teas. I felt that the $3 per cup was high, but it is unlimited at the breakfast bar so it is a good deal. I just dont drink that much tea. The tea was very weak. Didn't have a strong flavor. I would however recommend stopping. The atmosphere is very nice and they have a really nice selection of coffees and food.”

“Food was tasty. Lobster ravioli only came with 4 so not very filling alone. Service did take longer than expected. The ambience was very nice with the piano player. The valet worker was like a fairy tale character! Enjoyable experience overall. Would love to go during the day time to enjoy the view.”

“Classic Spot. I have been going to Christy's ever since I was a kid. The food has always been super consistent and very good. They have the best French Onion Soup I have ever had and I have soup at almost every restaurant I go to. The staff is friendly and nice. The only downfall is it can get very crowded at peak times and sometimes a wait. Just allow a little extra time if you go in on a Saturday morning. Other than that the food is great. The pancakes are huge and amazing, omelettes are huge and tasty. Would recommend to anyone and everyone”

“Best Dunkin' Donuts I have ever been too. (And I've been to a LOT of them.) Their service is snappy and quick, even with a crowd or long line in the morning. If you don't want your order messed up or gross, come to this Dunkin'.”

“Solid hamburgers and good variety -- both in the burgers and the beer. Nothing out-of-this-world, but, if that's what you're looking for, then you're probably not in the market for a "burger bar" in the first place. Everything was as-expected, but done very competently. Also, "these are the least-greasy french-fries that I ever had" is a direct quote from someone else at the table. It's nice to see a restaurant that sticks to its implied promises, delivers on them meticulously, and knows where to draw the line between being masterfully competent and being gimmickly fancy. Everything you need, and nothing you don't.”
