“We buy lunch for our entire staff on Saturdays from small local businesses. Today was the first time trying Taco Central. We ordered a variety of tacos , chips and sauces. “Food is good sometimes, but since the pandemic their prices went up. They're really expensive compared to the other Chinese restaurants in ansonia, which I think is really weird. I ordered chicken wings and a large pork fried rice my meal came out to 20 something and some change on top of that they gave me rice from a previous order that somebody placed earlier on in the day as if i wouldn't know the difference between rice that was made awhile ago and fresh rice.”

Separate group or dining area from the beautiful granite bar. Waitstaff excellent and bartenders attentive without being pushy. Will go back for more fun and maybe stay for dinner.”

“This place is among the last of its kind in the Valley, a true neighborhood bar. The decor is old but cozy, the bartenders are friendly & make you feel welcome. Patrons are a variety of folks, and conversations flow freely on a wide range of topics. Bob is the owner, and is a super nice guy. They have a pool table & dart board for those looking to play, as well as a couple of electronic game consoles. There are 3 TVs and it's a fun place to watch a game. No hot food is served, but nuts, chips, and Slim Jim's are available. It is a great place to go have some cheap drinks with nice people in a casual setting.”

“We absolutely LOVED the homemade beef and cheese empanadas!!! The lady at the counter is friendly and everything is very clean. The potato balls have a meat core which is a pleasant surprise. Everything is seasoned well and not overpowering. We also got a container of yellow rice and beans. The rice was perfect. Soft with black beans mixed in. I can not stress enough how you must try the homemade empanadas!!! You will not be disappointed. We will be back to try your chicken or steak ones next.”

Something about fast food, if I think too much about it, it becomes disgusting real quickly, but if its freshly "cooked" and hot it can be quite enjoyable.
