“A friend suggested that I try Home which is a short ride from New Haven to the Branford Green. We went for an early dinner on a Sunday. The front is bar area with some tables A small jazz combo was playing. A pleasant surprise. We were escorted to the back room, which was spacious with high ceiling and large framed photographs of the Green the walls. Server was attentive and had some useful suggestions.My friend ordered the ocean fresh salmon .I had the a small bowl of clam chowder and a house salad. She had a fig Cosmo. The soup was more generous than I anticipated for a cup. It spicier than I like but perfect for most. I am not a fan of jalapenos. Lots of seafood I enjoyed it. Her fish..perfect. My hamburger with bacon well cooked onions and cheese medium rare..perfect. No room for dessert but coffee rich and dark ended the meal. There is a focus on wine, beer and cocktails from the bar. There was big selection of alcoholic beverages. This is clearly an upscale, bit pricey restaurant but worth every penny.”

“Finally went here after one of my kids umpteen games and tourneys at CT Sportsplex. Great pizza!!! We are absolute pizza snobs, this pizza is thin, crisp with perfect toppings to sauce ratio. Also ordered salads and soups, all was great! Reasonably priced with excellent service. Go! “I love the Townhouse. My “home away from home”, for many years. Food, especially seafood, is ALWAYS fresh, and better prepared than many seafood restaurants. Portions are very large. Don’t miss the pea soup (Thursdays!) or the string beans in sauce (Fridays!) or the steamed carrots! (any day) And, forget the Twin Pines hype. The food simply does not compare.”
