“As many have already commented, I have visited this establishment since I was a child. Great price for great seafood and well seasoned ????. I wish the location was a bit larger for sit-down eating but I would not mark them lower for that reason. This is the best seafood restaurant in New Haven. I still miss the old location on Dixwell ???? for nostalgic reasons. I know that New Haven is a tough environment to do business(Gov issues/costs/etc) in but I hope you continue to thrive! I will continue to support.”

“It was surprisingly good. I was visiting from Oregon and was in the mood for some chicken and this was relatively close to the hotel so I figured I would give it a try. I was a little worried at first because there was the pretty good size group of sketchy people hanging outside being a little bit Rowdy on the day I was there. However, I am glad I went in anyway. It was very clean inside. It was lunchtime and there were three people in line ahead of me but the staff was very friendly and moves a line very quickly. I had my order to go pretty fast and I thought it was good chicken. It is very greasy but that's what makes fried chicken delicious LOL. I would recommend it if you're in the neighborhood.”

“This one on elm st holds customer service at thier highest. Thousand times better than the one on the route 1 near splash car wash- Don't go there. No matter how busy the one on elm is the drive thru moves quickly. And they are very pleasant! Happy Holliday”

“Overall, our experience was very good and the food was excellent. We came with a dozen people (with reservations) and the place was super busy; so, the server did his best to attend to our needs. It's difficult when it's that busy. It was even hard to communicate with him due to the volume in the restaurant. But, I suspect this is the case in any New Haven restaurant on a Friday night.”

“This is a large cafe although it's a little tough to find as it's on a walkway ally. They have good, natural choices for food. I ordered the scramble bowl and greatly enjoyed it.”

“Great dive spot with great music and a colorful local clientele. You need their pickle back shot - may sound weird, but they have some of the best pickle juice I've ever had at a bar. And on that note, they've got pickled fries too... enough said on that one. All I've had recently are their burgers, but I can say they're top notch. I've heard their vegetarian options are bomb too, but I've never tried it myself.”

“I was disappointed with my meal. The ambience was great, and the wait staff was friendly enough. However, the lamb I ordered had either been recently thawed from freezer burn, or more likely was thawed/cooked in a microwave. Also, there was also a great deal of time between the plating of one half of the dishes. Half of our party were nearly finished with their food before my father and I received our food. It could have been a bad day, but although it may be a good restaurant 99% of the time, the lamb I was given was far from properly prepared.”

“The menu ranged from steak to pork to grilled fish to duck risotto. You could not go wrong regardless of what you ordered but our table leaned towards the grilled brazano. I ordered a side of fingerling potatoes and they were just right: crisp on the outside and soft inside. You could dip them in the sauce or simply eat and savor them on their own. If the kale salad is on the menu, you should try it. One of my friends said he hates kale but he ordered the salad and said it was delicious!”

“One if New Haven's great cafe restaurants. In a bookstore. Great healthy food server to the friendly staff keeps me coming back time and again. The bread is fantastic and the baked treats delicious, and the breakfast and lunch menu is super. you haven't eaten them in the Havens best until you've eaten at Atticus. It a chance to take home a book as well. Which of the lot more than Amazon can deliver any day of the week”
