“I live on the border of West Haven and New Haven, so I have a lot of above average Chinese places to pick from when I'm in the mood. Even though T Bear forgot dumplings in the very first time I ordered from them, I called once I noticed and was told I'd be remembered as the "dumpling man" the next time I ordered and would be given dumplings without charge on my next order, which I felt was a fair compromise. We all make mistakes. Sure as the sun rises in the East, on my next order, I called and introduced myself as the "dumpling man" and was promptly remembered along with the redemptive dumpling agreement. When I went to pick up, I was given my entire order, dumplings including, along with a free iced-tea, which was surprisingly good and refreshing. Food was also delicious and fresh. Dumplings were ok. 5/5 for good food and business ethics.”

You go to Stop 'n Shop's butcher section and ask the people in those white coats if they can saw you a couple of 1" chops and they tell you, "Sorry, but we receive our meat cut already cut... we don't do any cutting." Ferraro's does the work, so shop there. They have other grocery items like bread, canned and fresh produce, homemade dishes and more so you can do all your shopping there... BUT, they're meaty!”

“Awesome spot! This area is a total food desert and finally there’s somewhere to get basic groceries and a tasty meal! The store is small but has a lot of the necessities and great snacks. I’ve had the pizza, sandwiches and salads and they are all delicious! Super creative pizzas, yummy sandwiches with great veggie options and most important, great mega salads. My personal favorite pizza is the breakfast pizza (egg on pizza, who would’ve known?). I’m big on the veggie avocado sandwich too. “I have driven by barbarossa several times, the aesthetics of the building inside and out are pretty simple and humble. Their customer service was that of a five star hotel restaurant, one of the gentle men from the back came to the front desk to help me with a takeout order, in which he went above mankind to meet my diet restrictions related to a health sensitivity.
