“Butcher shop and Farm to table restaurant. Menu is full of items that made from local fresh ingredients. Aged meat from beef to pork and special sausages can be purchased to be cooked at home. Food off the menu, serving with local draft beer and wine. Try the buffalo rotisserie chicken, roasted chicken with a bath of buffalo sauce. The garlic kale salad. The butcher's meatloaf with marinara red sauce. We enjoyed the chicken and the kale salad greatly. The meatloaf was salty, may be it came from the salt of the aging process, but it was flavorful nevertheless. Casual and clean place. Food brought to the table by the staff. They also cleaned the mess after you're finished. Good addition to the Mystic restaurant lineup. A must try if you are in the area. It is a bit pricey. It is Mystic, so it is kind of expected...”

Every menu item I've tried is simply out-of-this-world delicious, but the Jumbo Shrimp Risotto is a favorite (as is anything that is wood-grilled). “We went for a nice dinner for two. They seated us on a wall bench that was nice but it was cold this evening. We asked to be moved to a table near the heaters and within a few minutes they found us a seat next to the Mystic river and a heater! The wait staff was very accommodating, polite and professional. The food was fantastic! We asked to speak to the manager and compliment the entire staff at S&P for their above and beyond service! You must visit and you won't be disappointed!”

“Excellent food! I highly recommend the crab cakes ! Our children have peanut /tree nut allergies and our concerns were addressed promptly by our waiter. He explained the chance for cross contamination on certain items. Their food was clearly marked with an indicator that stated "allergy" when it came out. Our waiter Willam, was very attentive to all of our needs throughout the meal. Great place to take kids to expose them to eating at a "fancy" restaurant.”

“We visited this place on a Sunday night. We loved the beer garden atmosphere and would have sat outside by the fire pits if it were a tad warmer. The food was great. We ordered a few meals on the entree and the beer was actually really good. They have a tiny video game room and games for the table which was very helpful to keep our 6 year old happy while we waited foe the food (didn't take long). Service was good and quick. Totally recommend this place if you are looking for a good wholesome meal.”

“I love the Steak Loft and have since I was very young. I went there for lunch today with my parents and we sat at the bar. My father had a hot pastrami sandwich which he enjoyed. My mother and I had the sliced steak and oh my goodness it was delicious. Served over garlic toast with steak fries and covered in garlic, it was so good. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked exactly medium rare. It was a great lunch”

“Mystic Diner is a great family friendly restaurant. The food is delicious and a bit lighter than some other diners I've visited in the are. We always leave full, but without the heavy feeling that most diners' greasy food can give you. I was particularly impressed by the stuffed French toast which was both aesthetically presented and delicious. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend the Mystic Diner to anyone visiting the village and looking for a good breakfast out.”
