Always use to come here until I moved, but it's still one of my favorite places ????

Brooklyn's best kept secret is the sandwiches at this restaurant. I have dreams about "The Chew". Every time I come in for lunch I'm amazed there aren't more people here. Definitely stop in for an incredible meal.

To get a five everything has to come together. The service was very good with a great hometown friendliness to it. The meatballs were ok. The pizza had a nice sauce, good cheese, and ample toppings. But in my opinion the crust was undercooked. It had a doughy texture to it. I don't know if that was just mine or the way they are cooked here.

The food was good and waitress was attentive which is always a positive! The place is a little dark with mostly tiny Christmas type lighting around the inside walls. Once your eyes become adjusted to the darkness is not as bad as when you first arrive though. Complimentary garlic rolls are given with each meal which is nice. They do have some senior sized meals if you ask. Not listed on the menu, so good to know ahead if your a senior and want a lighter size meal.
All in all, a good place to eat!

I have to say, I’ve eaten here quite a few times. I had the food here tonight, ( 12/18/18 ), and for some reason the food seemed to have tasted better than usual. Don’t get me wrong, the food has always been good, but tonight it seemed to have been made with just a bit more love behind it. Whatever the change was, keep on doing it. Just when I think my love here can’t get any better, once again I am surprised. Thank you so much for all the love you put behind you food. Keep up the good work. I’m definitely going to come in more often and suggest this place to even more friends. Be sure to tell the chef tonight to keep the love coming. If you me reading this and have never eaten here before, I urge you to try it out!!!
