Sandwiches, local ice creams/cheeses/milk, delicious desserts, you name it. On a budget or looking for a fun dinner idea? They have a freezer where items closing in on their best-by dates are placed and marked HALF OFF! A full Macaroni and Cheese dinner for like $6? Full pies, desserts, burritos, you name it, all at an insane price. Literally, insane. This place is fantastic and I love getting to try new dishes at a discounted price because hey, why not? “We had dinner there last night. We ordered the fried cauliflower with the Carolina sauce, spinach and artichoke dip, we both ordered the steak rib eye. Sides were salad , baked potato, onion rings and macaroni and cheese. First the fried cauliflower was excellent! The dip was abundant and delicious! Our steaks were cooked to perfection! You could cut them with a butter knife and the taste was great! The macaroni and cheese was great and enough for two! The service was wonderful from the minute we stepped through the door. My husband ordered the bone in wings with the Carolina sauce to bring to work and needless to say we brought home more than half our meal ! If you are looking for a fabulous meal and nice surroundings this is the hidden gem in this community. This is definitely our new go to spot!”

One employee that worked with the food in the back used the bathroom and came out without washing their hands (manager was called). Overall, it's usually a decent experience though.”

“We stumbled upon this restaurant haphazardly driving home from a trip & it was a perfect find! The food was prepared perfectly! I am the absolute pickiest eater IN THE WORLD and this restaurant checked all the boxes and more. Not only was the food great, quality, not greasy, perfectly prepared & delicious... but the staff was friendly, polite & well groomed! Speaking of clean- I’ve never seen a cleaner restaurant in my life! Amazing! Even the tap water tasted good! The coffee was really good too. I drink my coffee black and I usually drink organic French dark roast...so I carry a certain pallet for coffee & their coffee was a perfect breakfast blend for anyone. While the portions are robust, the food is prepared so well that you are satisfied whether you finish your plate or take some home. We are now looking for excuses to make the very long drive back to the country view restaurant in Brooklyn CT again! Thanks for making our drive home fantastic!”
