“OMG OMG OMG!!! Where do I start? I was a little skeptical about the tofu taco, and couldn't decide between the beef or chicken, when lo and behold they had the sampler plate. One of each taco. Don't let the tofu taco scare you away. OMG these girls are fabulous when it comes to mixing and matching spices, herbs and toppings! The tofu is marinated to perfection, you don't even know you're eating tofu. Congratulations Ashley and Kate!!! You two are definitely onto something different and delicious. “Seriously one of the coolest places I’ve been to in Stamford so far! If I hadn’t seen others walking in, I might not have figured out where Cugine’s is, but that’s part of the speakeasy charm. This was such a fun date night for me and my boyfriend - it gave us an excuse to dress up, and it’s a very private dining experience with now dimly lit it is. All of the food was absolutely phenomenal, with the highlights being the homemade pasta and the fresh seafood. Desserts of the tiramisu and passion fruit covered ice cream were fantastic too. We really felt like we were in NYC for the night and just loved that there’s a place serving more upscale, classic Italian compared to how casual many Italian restaurants have become. Our servers throughout the night were very attentive and made an effort to talk to us about the dishes we were enjoying. My one critique is that it was quite loud, and my boyfriend and I felt like we were shouting to each other all night. Maybe some sound dampening decorations would do the trick. But overall, a truly unique experience that I would love to have again!”

“Really liked it! I had a 50% off coupon - would be a little wary of paying the full price since that’s what a pizza at a nice sit down restaurant would cost. We got a large thick dough make your own. Dough is chewy and delicious…almost tastes a bit like fried dough. All the toppings were fresh and paired well together. I recommend trying it out here!”

“Stopped here for breakfast since we were too late on getting breakfast at our hotel, and ordered the Mike’s Sandwich (a bacon egg and cheese with cream cheese) and guacamole toast. The bread was very fresh, and the Mike’s sandwich wasn’t bad - the cream cheese was definitely an interesting touch. I had the guacamole toast and was pretty disappointed with how plain it was. I should’ve looked harder when I ordered, but I assumed it would come with a topping of some sort that would give it some flavor, even salt and pepper would’ve been acceptable. It was literally the plainest guacamole I’ve ever had and ended up adding my own salt and pepper to be able to get through it. I did like the vibe of the place, and my boyfriend liked his coffee, but we felt the place was average.”

She really needs to have more training in Customer Service or put her in the back. I'm big on Customer Service and she is the worse! The cooks were very friendly which made up for it. “Fantastic place. Whether you golf or not, the huge bar in the center of the facility is beautiful. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. The golf simulators are HUGE and crystal clear, and the price is right. Each simulator bay has plenty of seating for a good sized group to hang between playing or just socialize if you don't golf. We had a big group of golfers and non golfers, and everyone had a blast. Family owned business run by great people. Definitely a new "go to" venue.”
