“I visited this spot and got a really tasty sausage pizza. The sauce and cheesy had a uniquely great taste that stood out from other spots. I ordered takeout, so can't really comment on the atmosphere much, but it seemed very calm and welcoming during my brief time there. It was a smooth transaction and I was out of the store quickly. “When I say our taste buds died and went to heaven at Hot Taco, I mean it!! First of all, let me just say how impressed I am by their tacos. I recently went somewhere that charged the same price as here for a single taco, and the other place’s tacos were so skimpy. Hot Taco’s are EXACTLY what I’m looking for - you could barely even fold the taco in half because there was so much inside! The menu is creative, and the street food flare is so cool. I absolutely loved the Mac and cheese, which sounded like it was going to be spicy, but actually was just so flavorful. The Brussels were amazing too, and I think it’s awesome that they have California style burritos, because those aren’t easy to find around here! The flavor of the month rotation for their churros is so fun, and I know they’ll continue to add creative options onto this menu. For only a month open in their brick and mortar location, and having it be primarily takeout, we were impressed at how busy they were for a Wednesday night! The food came out quickly, and everyone was so nice here. I’m so happy for them and wish them continued success!”

The issue was a number of items we ordered took longer than normal to prepare or they were unavailable. “Tonight I ordered dinner with Doordash and was not disappointed. We got the whole roasted chicken with some plantains, rice with peas, and beans. Also some cakes. It was so delicious. Fed a family of 4 including a picky little man. I will definitely be ordering again to try more off the menu. Dear owner, if you respond , please recommend your favorite dish! “Burrito was definitely a step above; great filling ratio, nicely toasted tortilla. Quesadilla was nice and crispy, instead of the either hard and dry or a bit soggy quesadillas I've had from other restaurants. Tons of grease were definitely used to achieve this, though... I had to pat it down with napkins quite a bit. I like greasy food so it's not a problem for me, but it might be a turn off for some. It was also great value for food so it's definitely worth giving this place a try.”

“AMAZING FOOD! The FXF Steak and Fries were delicious! The NY Strip was cooked perfectly and was juicy and so tender that you could cut it with a fork. The Forge Fries were the best ever! Never tasted anything like them before! Karrigan’s Biscuits were so good, we ordered a second plate of them! Everything we had was so good! Looking forward to trying out their breakfast next and will definitely return for dinner!”

“I found myself on an off side road adjacent to Park St in the Frog Hollow district of Hfd. I pulled around on my bike to see a bright red neon sign , and it drew me right in. I had to see what was inside such an oasis in area. I immediately smelled the various grilled delights coming from behind the counter. A lovely hispanic woman came, smiled, and took my order. I just ordered a simple ham and cheese grinder and it was more than simple. Ham piled up on the roll next to wafer thin Swiss cheese. Then all the fixings I could want for with shredded lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar , oregano, salt and pepper. By the time I got my order, I had a very warm feeling about the place. I asked them how long they were there and they all perked up and said the store had been family owned , and managed for over 25 years. I can't wait to go back and dive into their specialty , Steak and cheese grinder. Don't miss it, just around the corner from broad and russ st, the yummy Boriqua Market is tucked in on Lawrence St. Enjoy the selection!!”
