Everything we’ve had over two visits has been remarkable. Fried seafood is light and crispy, pasta sauces are refreshingly different but seem authentic. Sandwiches are a little pricey but loaded. And we enjoyed professional, personal service both times. The atmosphere is not remarkable, and it can get a little noisy. Have not tried the pizza.

We were looking for a place to eat on The Wharf, and came across Lupo Marino. From the outside, it looks very inviting, chic with exposed brick. We were able to be seated right away, which was great for a Friday night. Seating was pretty tight though, and I was back-to-back with another guest. Also, VERY loud. I felt like I was yelling over the music and other guests.

The menu was your typical Italian restaurant. There was nothing that stood out creatively. They recommended the special for the night: a $30 lasagna (which I ordered). It tasted GOOD, but it was not the best lasagna I'd ever had (also, the portion was pretty small for a $30 lasagna)...

Overall, I spent $120 (tip included) on dinner for two for a casual dinner. It was good, but nothing I would come back for. I guess it's affordable for The Wharf, but certainly did not feel like a $120 meal/experience.

Very nice Italian restaurant. The food was fresh and served hot. I thought the restaurant itself was nicely decorated. The pizza is from a wood oven grill and baked fresh. They have a large bar selection on the wall of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I were in DC on business and stumbled across this restaurant near our hotel. We were completely impressed. The prices were fair for the area and especially for the quality. The service was also impeccable, friendly, and helpful. GET THE BRUSCHETTA. The bread base was to DIE for. The pasta is also fresh and the pizza delicious. We finished with dessert and coffee and could not have enjoyed our evening out on the city more. The ambiance was also great for the date feel. You won't regret stopping by here!
